“ because she could have hurt you but I don't know it. She is an assassin “

"Fair, fair, but if she did hurt me, I deserved it anyway. I know that you're my boyfriend, but why do you care this much?"

“ you never deserve it! Don't say that!” kaito growled

"But…all she knows me as is a lying asshole, so…don't I deserve it…?" Kokichi asked. "And besides, I'm sure I'm okay…"

“ ko. I will slap you for thinking that”

"H-hey…! Don't…" Kokichi sighed softly. "So…maybe I didn't deserve it, but I'm sure I'll be fine…"

“ were going to the nurse.”

"Okay, I can't stop you… I just don't want you to worry…"

“ I won't but let's go.”

"Yeah. You need to get your own injuries checked out. I dunno why you're so focused on me when you're clearly hurt…" Kokichi sighed softly.

“ Because my boyfriend comes first” he said

"I get it. You come before I do in my mind, so…" Kokichi sighed softly. "Now let's go so you can get that checked out…"

“ okay..”

Kokichi sighed and fell silent so Kaito would continue walking. Once they arrived at the nurse's office, he sighed softly again. He just hoped that Kaito was okay. He couldn't have cared less about his own injuries.

Kaito walked in and heard the nurse freak out “ I'm alright,”

Kokichi nodded. "Just his crazy assassin ex-girlfriend trying to murder him…and me. She tried to kill us both. Anyways, since I'm not important, just fix my boyfriend," he demanded. "Now."

The nurse rolled her eyes and got to stitching up Kaitos cheek

Once that was over with, Kokichi hugged Kaito. "And now that you're okay, let's get the hell out of here."

“ okay..” he said and winced at the pain of the stitching

Kokichi sighed softly and picked Kaito up. "I'm stronger than you thought, I know. But anyways, I'm not sure how this would really spare you any pain, but I'm trying to be nice, so…" he explained before heading back to his dorm with Kaito. "And now to lock my door, barricade that and the windows, and cuddle you so Maki can't touch you."

Kaito chuckled “ you don't have to go to those extents

"She tried to kill you, and we forgot to call the police while she was unconscious, so now she probably seeks her revenge. With all that in mind, I need to do all of this," Kokichi explained. "If you don't mind, I'll be doing that now."

Kokichi did all of that before Kaito could argue again. Given how his room was arranged, it almost seemed like he did something like that constantly, as if he was constantly paranoid. Given the amount of times Maki had threatened and attempted to kill him over their span of knowing each other, though, it was justified.

"Now we can cuddle and sleep, oki?" Kokichi said softly. "You need some rest."
