^^ I haven't published much on wattpad, but I heard that it's pretty hard to get noticed on there unless you have a somewhat large fanbase :( I don't like it.
Buttt I'd be willing to read and hype up anybodys stories/fanfics ! I love reading, and would 100 % support anyone who wants it

Oh no, the passion and inspiration is alive and well; my problem is that I have so many ideas that I just keep hopping from one project to the next! 99.9% of them are Spn, the .1 is the DBZ story….

I actually didn't get any hate on any of my projects…. On wattpad I asked one of the admins if there was an easier way to get more traffic to my stuff. I had been using tags, commenting on things that I was reading, etc. No help whatsoever; they replied with something among the lines of "keep doing what you've been doing"…. Which, to me, was equivalent to telling me to screw off. The lack of views and comments on something that I worked so hard on left me severely depressed and disheartened (until I rekindled myself with an idea or two).

Basically the same thing happened on DA…. I had submitted a scanned drawing of mine to a group, and got the response of "the picture is of poor quality. Retake the photo with a better camera, and we might accept your submission."
I went on to point out that it was scanned, and even said that not everyone can afford a high-end professional camera. While I can and do understand that it's their right to reject submissions, it is not okay to assume that everyone has access to equipment capable of taking "quality photos." Sadly that one person ruined DA for me, but I have been debating on returning to that site!
Aaaaaaaand that was much longer than I thought it would be…………

Ah, those are also problems of which I relate to! I write on Wattpad – though I've considered quitting a lot throughout the past year and a half – but for 136 followers, no one reads my books and it makes me feel like my efforts are going unnoticed. My girlfriend, who has like eight followers, gets more reads per part than I do. I would leave if it weren't for my few friends and running role plays there. I put a lot of effort into my fanfics making sure each chapter is long and is free of spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors, as well as properly paragraphed.

Then with having a lot of different ideas, that's also an issue of mine! I have ADHD, so my attention span is everywhere. Once I turned a strange BTS and Phoenix Wright sort of fanfic (please don't question where that idea came from, because I don't know myself) into pure gayness. Then I stopped writing it because that was not meant to happen, and I got more idea. I've had multiple ideas throughout multiple fandoms as well and many incomplete stories due to my wacky attention span and multiple ideas.

To resolve that? I don't know myself, but I write while listening to music, which helps me focus on writing. The writing itself comes easy since I get into character quickly, but I still have a lot of ideas. That's also why I had a short story book. It was where I could test out my other ideas and focus on a main fanfic. Oh, and I also made a page to keep track of ideas to come back to later!

I hope that some of this helps!

Heh, that's true… kinda… I got 200 reads in a day when I had less than fifty followers, and now, with 136 and writing about a much larger fandom, no one cares. I'm unnoticed everywhere I write, though, so I'm used to it. I do support my friends, though! Also, what fandom(s) do you write about on there? That plays a role. I mostly write about BTS, but it can be any of my random fandoms.

I can see how BTS fanfics would be hard to get noticed, there's so many of them! I've only published a couple parts of a Dallas Winston/the Outsiders fanfic, but I've been writing a marvel one I'd like to publish as well. I just have so many projects and never know which one I want to prioritize :p I haven't gotten many reads at all, but so far I don't mind. But if I do want to complete a fanfic, I want to know people are reading it

You write Outsiders fanfic? My girlfriend and I have been wanting to! Also, the odd thing with my fanfics is, they're always some weird, kinda eye-catching crossovers or AUs, or just have a generally dramatic plot. I think that, in the end, my fanfics fail because I rarely update, my ideas are ridiculous – almost like crack fanfic but following a sense of a plot – and it's clean and pure. I'm not into other types of stuff, however, most of Wattpad is.

I do have to say, however, that my account's been failing before I even liked the boys, so, we can't blame them here. It fell in July 2018, and I found the boys in October, and I rarely wrote about them until September 2019, when I already had a follower count similar to mine currently. Nowadays, I just write for the heck of it and the three or so online friends I have. It's like my YouTube channel. I don't expect people to like or watch it; I just make it for the friends who wanna hear me sing BTS songs or play Tomodachi Life (for some reason).

As I said, most of my fanfic is Supernatural. Love it, "live" it, crave it!

I might send my online friend a link to yours! I'm not a Supernatural fan, but they are! They might like it if you ever decide to be active again!

Awesome! Thanks man! It'll probably be on DA; I had better luck with getting hits there than I did on Wattpad.

Okay! I hope that people read your stuff! No author really deserves to go unnoticed, after all!

To everyone writing fanfics, I'm glad that they're going well! I haven't worked on mine for a while, but I like writing it! I can't say if it's good or not – and I'd send you the first/only chapter, but it's long as heck – but I like it!

I'm trying to write my babies, I have thousands of ideas but so little inspiration to write

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

You'll find inspiration! It's like me with my one fanfic. I had the ideas, and everything was going great and people loved it, but I lost the inspiration to write it and then discontinued it. It was just an idea that after writing a bit to it, I lost the inspiration for and interest in it. Now I write about a totally different fandom, but I still have my old ideas.

Are you me? I'm taking notes of all my ideas, but can't bring myself to write any of it. My work being super tiring doesn't help at all

I'm starting to get into writing fanfiction again. That's honestly how I found this website. I might start doing Danganronpa fanfiction, but for now I'm more comfortable with Vocaloid fanfiction.

I decided to continue my fanfic from like September! After fixing the paragraphs, I republished it all and I'm now working on the fourth chapter! It's probably all gay cringe, but I don't care! Just an update!
