@houdini

i know how hard it can be to promote your own stuff, and i'm also genuinely curious to see if anyone does?

My name should give it away but that's mostly all I write. Well and some recursive fics as well but none of them are in a state to be posted yet.

Actually, I do have one story posted, at least a couple chapters, but it’s currently under a rewrite hiatus. … It was my first time and I realize now I made my MC fit too well with the environment.
fine she's a bit of a Mary Sue.
But I'm working on fixing that… when my procrastination isn't biting me.

I write on Wattpad and create fanfiction. It's really fun to interact with people who like the same things but I'm not very popular yet.

I have a Peter Parker one that I started a couple months ago that was never gonna go anywhere.
The main character is a Stony girl, and she's lowkey a mini Natasha.
I was never planning anything, but people liked it for some reason (i'm posting in on this website called Quotev).
I actually have solid chapter plans and ideas for other books.
I don't like telling my friends about it cause it's embarrassing. But I don't know any of you and none of you know me, so it's not so bad.
my username is demibighostspider if any of you guys wanna read but idk it's kinda cringy imo and i'm the author

I love fanfics and write them for almost any fandom I enter

Oh god same I–

But uh yeah! I work on fics when I'm not doing other things(good god I have a lot on my plate)! For the most part, I do Pokemon stuff but I have a few Kid Icarus fics I'm writing as well

I'm reading In Which A Dragon And A Prince Meet right now, it's really good! Great work!

I joined Notebook.ai to organize my ideas for the fanfic I want to write since I'm 14. But yeah, I'm so lazyyyyyyyyyyy. Need to focus. Focus in it Yuki!

@ZephirFox8812

I started writing a Sanders Sides fanfic during Algebra, I'm three chapters in so far, and I want this to be a pretty long fanfic

Ooooh, I really want to try a sander sides fan fic with my own sides. (I haven't met them yet, only one)

@Cloudy_is_trying_her_best

Y'all, I wrote a Pokemon Sword and Shield fic that I'm pretty proud of if you want to check it out…

It's called Redemption and it focuses on Bede and it's angsty and it's basically "what if helped out with that thing at the end of the game that I won't spoil if you haven't played" and he's just pretty sad in general

I joined a new fandom, and it's a kids show (although a lot of people in the fanbase are in their late teens). I wrote a 200+ page fanfic about it, because I have no self control when it comes to these things.

I have multiple incomplete Supernatural fanfics, and one Dragonball Z story that's sadly going nowhere. I used to use wattpad and deviantart, but I stopped using those due to some bad experiences.

Some advice! Just try to keep going. If you lost the inspiration, (I can relate with all my incompleted fanfics spanning multiple fandoms) just try to work on something you have the passion to write, and don't push yourself too hard. Don't try to finish a chapter in one go. It's okay to need to think it through and take a while. Stress will lead to lack of inspiration. In the end, just write what you want when you want!

Also, whatever you write on now – if anything– I hope that no one's being toxic! If they are, remember that you fanfics are still great and that you tried. We all have haters, but it's best to focus on positivity!

(Haha, this is probably stupid, but hey, here to help! I've been a fanfic author for slightly over two and a half years and I'm here to help people! Also, any of you can ask me for advice on writing! I'm not incredibly good, but I'm good at tips on staying focused and motivated, and maybe some other tips!)

Oh no, the passion and inspiration is alive and well; my problem is that I have so many ideas that I just keep hopping from one project to the next! 99.9% of them are Spn, the .1 is the DBZ story….

I actually didn't get any hate on any of my projects…. On wattpad I asked one of the admins if there was an easier way to get more traffic to my stuff. I had been using tags, commenting on things that I was reading, etc. No help whatsoever; they replied with something among the lines of "keep doing what you've been doing"…. Which, to me, was equivalent to telling me to screw off. The lack of views and comments on something that I worked so hard on left me severely depressed and disheartened (until I rekindled myself with an idea or two).

Basically the same thing happened on DA…. I had submitted a scanned drawing of mine to a group, and got the response of "the picture is of poor quality. Retake the photo with a better camera, and we might accept your submission."
I went on to point out that it was scanned, and even said that not everyone can afford a high-end professional camera. While I can and do understand that it's their right to reject submissions, it is not okay to assume that everyone has access to equipment capable of taking "quality photos." Sadly that one person ruined DA for me, but I have been debating on returning to that site!
Aaaaaaaand that was much longer than I thought it would be…………
