LEVI: "You tend to learn the signs when you've been at this for a while. Hair standing on end, flickering lights, cold spots, seeing your breath. That kinda stuff. Seeing the ghost coming for you helps too!"

HARRIET: [sighs] ”I know those signs… Glad you saw him at least.” [looking at her ring] I can't believe I was that distracted… I should have been paying better attention. [smirks a little] ”Think he’s still ticked I’m wearing his wife's clothes?”

SAM: "I think he's more upset about us interrupting and ending his 'work'." [Shifts his weight to get comfortable on the crutch.]

DEAN: [Nods in agreement.]

HARRIET: [chuckles briefly] ”Yeah, fair. You would think that a guy who's a part of the Men of Letters would have better sense than to mess around with stuff like that. How did he even come across that thing?”

SAM: "Hard telling. He could've stumbled across a spell in a book, got an order from a higher-up, or simply had an encounter with it and had some hunters capture it for him. Your guess is as good as mine."

HARRIET: [shrugs] ”Not a clue… Though now that I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if it caused the earthquake that destroyed the original floorplan for this place.”

LEVI: "Probably. Though it is California; the San Andreas fault line isn't that far." [Starts heading to the storage room after getting Dean's help to pry the doors open since they wouldn't open on their own.]

HARRIET: ”That’s true…” [seeing them have to force the door open, she looks much more alert and habitually starts to reach for something in her coat… which she quickly remembers, she's not wearing.]

LEVI: [Pulls out a pocket knife as he moves to the storage closet. He removes the brick that had the soul-link symbol on it. Opening the pocket knife he attempts to scratch at the symbol while the others stand guard.] "Damn." [Scowling.] "I was afraid about that." [Tries smashing it to no avail. Scowl deepens.] "Hmmm…."

DEAN: "We've got company!" [Fires his gun at Samuel and his other angry ghostly Men of Letters members.]

LEVI: [Mumbling to himself.] "We never get 'easy jobs'!" [Pulls out a golden angel blade that he got on a different job and scratches at the brick with success. Squints as a blinding light eminates from the brick and soul-link.]

HARRIET: [quickly sets down her bag and grabs her own sawed-off before taking a guard position with Sam and Dean, firing a couple of salt rounds at the oncoming ghosts.]

SAMUEL: [Telekinetically throws Harriet to her knees.]

DEAN: "Eat rock salt, Sammy!"

HARRIET: [grunts in surprise before trying to get back up.] ”Jackass! Fight like a real man!”

LEVI: [Still scrapping at the soul-link brick.]

SAM: [Fires at two of the ghostly enemies.]

DEAN: "Hurry up back there, kiddo!"

LEVI: "Working on it, asshole!"

DEAN: "Watch your mouth, young man!"

LEVI: "We're the same age, dad!" [Looks away from the brick as the light increases.] Just a little more!

HARRIET: [glances over at Levi and smirks at the banter before firing a few more shots at the ghosts]

LEVI: [Finally breaks through the symbol and is met with a huge gust of wind.]

DISEMBODIED VOICE: "No! What have you done?"

SAMUEL: [Screams in anguish as the other Men of Letters turn on him, rending his spirit apart shred by shred.]

SAM: [Grimaces while watching.]

HARRIET: [jumps back a little, clearly startled by the new voice and begins looking around for its source, glancing at her ring occasionally] ”What the f—”

DISEMBODIED VOICE: "So many souls now free…. I will not be capable of getting my vengeance on Samuel!"

DEAN: "Well, that clears up who the voice belongs to." [Still on guard.]

HARRIET: ”Care to clear it up for the rest of us? Cause that only narrows it down to one of two people for me. Caroline or Johnathan.” Then again Caleb was pretty ticked with ”daddy dearest” when he found out the truth…

DEAN: "It's Johnathan. He wanted to trap souls in the hotel to use them as a battery for strength. Remember?"

SAM: "He would've also been upset from the business deal, Caroline, and Caleb; all strong motives for revenge." [Fires at an oncoming ghost.]

LEVI: [Joining the fray with his own sawed-off rock salt loaded shotgun and dispenses of the last two remaining visible threats.]

HARRIET: [scowls as she reloads her gun] ”So he lied to us when he told us what to burn so he could leave. I can understand being furious and wanting revenge for those things, but I hate being lied to”

DEAN: "Wasn't it Caleb that told us how to get rid of Johnathan?"

HARRIET: [shaking her head] ”No. I remember Johnathan saying to burn the letters and the lock of hair for him and Carolyn to go.” [furrows her brow slightly] ”Actually I think he said, ”Burn the lock of Carolyn's hair along with the letters, and I'll be gone”… He didn't specify anything more.”
