I created one a while back called a Grim, which was really kind of creepy. They're pure white, except for a black triangle on their "crown", an extension of their head that is triangle shaped. They're about the size of a bear full grown. They have blazing red eyes, a wide, sharp-toothed smile, and long claws that are perfect for cutting through their victims flesh. They also have long tails with a sharp triangular point on the end. They run on four legs at high speeds, only slightly slower than an ATV gunning it down a trail. They only come out of their holes once the sun begins to set, and disappear into white ash once killed.

sorry for replying a bit late, but wow gypsy that sounds pretty scary. I imagine finishing my walk down a trail in the middle of a forest just as the sun begins to go down, and seeing a white blotch in the distance down the trail, and then watching it grow at freaky speed and seeing it charge right at me. The thought makes me shudder. Great scary creature! seems perfect for a urban legend or a scary story to tell while camping.

@M.Kidd

Mmmm…. I wrote a creature once that didn't really have a name of any kind, it was more or less just a miscellaneous abomination. The character who created it was a powerful Witch/Sorceress/what-have-you with a strong affinity for decay and reanimation. She was basically a really powerful necromancer with the ability to meld together flesh and bone and whatnot. Anyway, for this part in the story, some characters were wandering through her lands (The Dread Wastes, 'cause she's edgy and stuff) and she'd sent out a liaison to greet them and bring them back to her home. Said characters weren't very cooperative at first, so the liaison decided it was appropriate to motivate them with a display of what her "Lord/Lady" was all about. She summoned up this big, centipede-like creature that was basically made of human corpses, fused together at the torso. It skittered around on arms/legs and weaved about between and around trees and stuff. Was supposed to just make you feel real uncomfortable, designed to inspire a lot of shock and disgust. It was also still undead/alive-ish so each head on the thing was constantly moaning/wailing while it was in motion, and it was pretty big. It was heavily inspired by the Necromorphs in the Dead Space games, and it was a lot of fun to write. Might hunt around and see if I can find that excerpt buried somewhere, it was the closest thing to "horror" I've ever written I think.

Whoa, M.Kidd, that sounds disgusting AND terrifying! I'm just imagining a bunch of bodies melted together like a centipede, and it's so grotesque but in a good way. If I saw that thing anywhere I'd probably scream as loud as I can and for as long as I can.

Hey, I realized I haven't shared any of my scary creatures yet. I sort of have multiple of them (although as of today I've never taken the time to write them down), so I guess I'll share just one. I refer to it as the Nightmare Dragon, but I haven't thought of an official name yet. It has the shape of a dragon, but instead of an actual dragon, it's a pitch black and distorted shadow. It's claws and spikes are unnaturally long and jagged. Its eyes and teeth are completely white, the only part that isn't pitch black. It's always twitching and shaking, and to the naked eye it seems to never take a distinct shape. It's also always drooling uncontrollably. when it is near a human, or a human sees it, their senses and thoughts get messed up, and they can't think straight. It also has the ability to appear in people's nightmares.
The creature itself is supposed to be the result of a Dragon's soul that is so corrupted by black magic, it can't even be considered a dragon anymore (in my universe, black magic is the darkest, most corrupted magic that leaves scars in the souls of mortals who dare practice it). Technically it isn't even a physical being.
Sorry if this is too long, it's hard for me to explain something in a couple of sentences.

@CharBar

I think the creepiest creature I ever created was this cave dwelling really creepy thing that I thought of one day. It's body was like a spider's, so like, its abdomen but the abdomen was all spiky. Those spikes would lead to eight long, boney, ashen skinned human arms distorted at wrong angles. The neck and head was like that of a huge, olive green snake, and its face was covered in thousands of putridly acid green, bloodshot eyes that all blinked at different times. It could unhinge it's jaws unnaturally, and its mouth was filled with row upon row of sharp, needle like teeth, all covered in this inky black venom. It was about the size of a lion, and it made this horrible gurgling/choking/hissing noise. So yeah.

Kameriki

i'm not that good with English but i'll try my best to describe this character.

The Esrever namuh

Docile mode: Naked, tall skinny dude with hair loss and without a face and no genitals. It stands still with a straight back.
Never face their back because this triggers their Kill mode.

Kill mode: A wide grinning mouth opens at the back of its head, no eyes or nose just a mouth. It's like a double jointed dude, everything is backwards. It doesn't stand straight anymore, it turns into a hunchback or hunchchest haha,. Anyway, everything is backwards, even the fingers. In this mode, you're chances of survival are slim(If you're not well equipped). The Esrever Namuh can run up to speeds of 100km/h. The bite force of it's jaws are enough to crush bone. They are strong enough to lift an average human. Their manner of killing humans is pretty simple, they grab you, hold your head and then proceed to bite your face off. After that they just leave your body and go back to their usual business of just standing there and being weird.

Trivia: The Erever Namuh does have eyes at the back of it's head, the color is reddish and located just above it's mouth but is only visible when it's in a dark place.

@MalevolenceIsKey

I have something called a Terrore and they're monstors created after an angel dies. They have silver, luminescent skin, four to six eyes on each. Five legs, one where the tail would be, knife teeth modeled after sabretooth tigers, a weird white mane circling the neck, less thick than a lion and made of feathers, They're incredibly thin and pale but stand around 7 ft tall.

@MalevolenceIsKey

@CharBar If they're killed by another angel, another person, or executed for any reason. Dying by other things like illness or tripping on a particularly sharp rock would not turn them into a terrore.

@Mojack group

I have no name for this creature yet, but the most terrifying thing is a humanoid creature; long, skinny legs and several, sometimes varying in number amount of skinny arms. Only a few of them exist due to how few 'eggs' they lay (stored in a blue, glowing sac which they hide deep in caves) and how low the survival rate for them is. When they're young, they walk with both legs and arms, but as they get younger, begin walking upright. They can survive major wounds, and loose a few arms - regrow them as well -. Often, they're dark grey-charcoal-blue-green in colour, but they have soft fur on their backs, neck, head, wrists and ankles sometimes. Sometimes, the fur is similar to a lions mane.
Their head is similar to a flower, it can open or reopen, filled with razor sharp teeth but small ones as well. They have a secondary mouth; this is actually a part of their throat and they produce the 'sacs' from this long string of throat that they can reveal. When extended, outside the body it can go to around 3 meters. It's tough and hard to tear, and has mini but thousands of teeth on the outside of the opening of the throat. Often, it's bioluminescent blue.
They sometimes have the cruel habit of taking their victims bones - the ones they do not eat - and adorn themselves in it.

The scariest, the horror part of this? This creature can mimic noises. Thing is, it is the last thing the person said before getting killed. So, if it said, "Who's there?" that would be the last word of the victim it had. But the other thing about it was it can produce infrasound; if you find a "what the T.Rex sounded like" video on youtube, that's the noise it mainly produces. It usually stops doing that when it's right above prey, or close.
They're around 11 ft - 15 ft - 9 ft tall at average, can outrun most vehicles and are extremely agile. They also possess an ability to remove their limbs at will if threatened, but if it's by will, they cannot regenerate. They hunt at both night and day, and seeing them at both times is terrifying; especially if you're in a forest, by a cabin - or in one, look outside, and see one, or a glimpse of one, shuffling through the thick treeline.

Alaire Gennette

I have this one creature, its called a hag slime, based off of something in real life (i'll let you guys figure that one out) It's apperance is similar to that of a giant, hairy, greasy slug that doesn't have any real body structure. It lives in swamps and around hags (those who created it) and eats everything it touches, leaving a giant trail of decay in its wake. It is easily outpaced, and whatever the color of the food it has had, that is what color it turns. If it feels threatened, it will scream and shake voilently, releasing a weak aura of psyche-magic that can make the slime seem reasonable and mind wipe you into following its commands, which include, but are not limited to, kill yourself, go drown, hate yourself, die, etc.
