"Xavier is one of the children we're taking care of." said Skylar.
"Probably the most problematic, one in the whole bunch," Matthew commented. "Things have a habit of breaking when he's around."
"Oh come on you know you love him," she joked.
"I do, but the staff doesn't."

Deleted user

"Sounds like our youngest," Aura said jokingly, "Little Wren setting things on fire, setting on smoke detectors, throwing ashes at people…" Eli said in a not so jokingly tone, contrary to his wife, "Just like your brother and Lizbeth…" she said.

"Xavier is the reason I live off of coffee." mumbled Matthew resting his chin on his hand. "He's just a bit to loud, and does everything a bit to fast."

Deleted user

"How old is he?" Aura asks, "Kids can be that way when younger."

"Honestly having patience is my only advice." Eli adds.

Deleted user

"He is way to old for this," growled Matthew.
"He's fourteen." Skylar answered. "So yes, he really should know better."
"He does know better he just gets excited easily."

Deleted user

"Well, that's normal for someone his age," Aura's tone was meant to be uplifting though she wasn't sure if it was to Matthew and Skylar, "Kids and teens can be… messy, exhausting, loud, energetic, among many other things, but I suppose is only natural to be that way when you are at that age."

Deleted user

"Exhausting, yep that's the word. That describes them all perfectly," said Matthew. Skylar nodded a little, looking out the window. "But hey, today's our day off! I'm sure they'll be fine by themselves."
"It's either that or I won't have a house to come back to."

"That's parenting, I guess, I still remember the day Wren almost burned down the kitchen…" Eli sighs, "And the time Isla broke a few chairs while trying to reach out the cookies…" Aura added.

"We even went as far as getting some of their friends to stay with us for a while, more kids to raise…" Despite his tired tone, Eli seems to laughs a little while saying that, "I still got a photo of them, is that such a mom thing to do?" Aura joins him and lets out a small laugh while looking at a photo she kept on her pocket.

(OOC: This is the photo, btw, you can also use images if you have them, not necessarily drawings, any image that helps as visuals.)

Skylar laughed "Yeah, we know a lot about chaos."
"Tapestries on fire."
"Lots of broken dishes."
"Getting hit with pine cones."
"The usual."

Deleted user

"Sounds awfully familiar," Aura laughs, "At least we hadn't had any broken chair after both of them grew taller than me," she looks at Eli, "But not the same heigh at you, honey, you still have to reach things on the top shelf for us." She smiles and Eli smiles at her little comment.

Deleted user

"Yeah, no broken chairs yet." said Matthew.
"Actually, remember Sora broke a chair on the first day?"
"Oh I forgot about that! But we got it fixed."
"Sora's one of the other kids we're taking care of." explained Skylar, "She's a lot calmer than Xavier, but the first day was a mess for everyone."

Deleted user

"Remember when Beateiz stayed whit us?" Aura asks Eli, who replies before she even finishes the question, "There were cheese and beans all over the kitchen and a bunch of chickens on the garden."

Deleted user

(I'm just gonna kept it coming with chaos stories, I have so many.)

Matthew laughed a little "Greysen broke into the pantry one night, apparently he couldn't sleep and that was the first door he found."

Deleted user

(100% for the chaos)
Aura couldn't help but to chuckle as she heard the stories, "We had three teenages raiding the fridge at midnight once, comes with taking care of your child's friends, I guess."

Deleted user

"Most of ours don't get along well." sighed Skylar.
"Yesterday Ruby threw a jar of pickled eggs at Starson."
"Yeah… it wasn't the best day."

Deleted user

"We never had that happen…" Eli says, "I'm no psychologist but I suppose talking could help, maybe put themselves in each other's shoes?" he shrugs, "The closest thing I have as an experience is when my brother threw stuff at me… mostly shoes…"

Deleted user

"Don't worry, she missed, we had to throw away the food, but nobody got hurt." Skylar assured him.
"Shoes have also been thrown before." added Matthew helpfully.
"We were not made for parenting."
Matthew smiled brightly "No we were not." he agreed.

Deleted user

"I suppose nobody is fully made for it," Aura shrugs, "It took us a while to get used to it…"

Deleted user

"Well I hope we can figure it out." said Skylar. Matthew nodded and started tapping his foot on the ground again.

Deleted user

"I guess we still haven't figure it out, not fully at least," Eli says, "What do you do when they grow up and you only get older and older? It never ends, I suppose, but at least they can take care of themselves."

Victoria hesitated outside the door. Charlie had said she needed a break, but she didn’t even remember how she got here. Where was here anyway?
The redhead fidgeted where she stood, her freckled face pulled into one of uncertainty. Her brown eyes were locked on the door handle in front of her.
She’d heard voices inside talking in low, pleasant tones. Those couldn’t be the sounds of witch hunters, right? It’s not like she had a choice in the matter anyway. She was here. Might as well find out where ‘here’ was.
She turned the handle and cautiously looked inside, not stepping in just yet.

"Quite frankly, It hurts a little when you see your kids all grown up and not needing your help anymore, but it's also a relief," Aura explained, "The feeling of pride you get when you see them makes it all worth it."
