Clove returned to the group, switching back to English. "Found Temple. Found enemy. He trap people for energy." She narrowed her eyes at Runner, then looked back at the girls. "Temple will accept you if agree to help."

"A person?" He grit his teeth as he thought. Well, she hasn't lied to us yet. Put your bullshit away and listen. "Alright. Take us there."

"I swear, if this is an elaborate plot to kill Runner… Wow, great, now you've got me also thinking everything's about you."

She nodded, satisfied. "I will need to translate for you," she explained as they walked. "Fellow Caretaker there. Russian too." Her lips quirked at Athena's comment.

He tilted his head in confusion. "Didn't ask for you to think about me in the first place. I'll take care of myself, yeah?"

Clove ignored their bickering, messing with her one arm as it started creaking again. She swore in Russian. Damn thing needs oiled again.

"Hey, that's not very nice," Athena said to Clove. "Bad words, I mean. But then again, its not like no one's heard them before, so."

He tilted his head. "She didn't say anything…"

"I curse in Russian," she said over her shoulder.

"Ooooooohhhh, gotcha."

"Yeah, real smart," Athena muttered. She was starting to see why Clove didn't like the guy.
