@Oakiin

Yeah, I don't really have a super detailed plan for this, but I just wanna be a specific character quite badly. I'm rping the rest of her family, and I feel I'm unfairly leaving her out. The only thing is she's looking for her husband and severely depressed, but unwilling to give up on life under any circumstances.
Bring ya ideas to the table!

Rules:
Can be a romance, if we want, but bear in mind this gal's like 47, and, as said, looking for her husband (but again, that doesn't mean it can't be a romance, they have a complex relationship. I'll explain better if need be)
First come first serve, but you do have to ask before joining
I may ask for a writing example if we haven't rp'd before or if I don't know you
May contain some pretty dark themes and more mature content
Do not be rude please
andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s
If you have any complaints, do not hesitate to bring them to me!
I may change or update these at any time
Please be active. If you can't keep going, just let me know, it's no problem
Please have good grammar. Thank-you. Occasional slip ups are fine, of course
Swearing is fine, and allowed, just don't go too overboard
No god modding
Please keep your replies a little longer. Doesn't have to be more than 3 lines, but wherever you can, try to stay above 1.

Physical Description:
Brief Backstory:

(I'll do my gal in a sec here ^^)

@ElderGod-Carrots

Character's name: Willem Erbosol
Character's age: 16
Gender: Male
Personality: Will is a very kind person, very sweet. Likes to keep to himself a lot. INFJ - very sensitive, takes a lot of things to heart. Always wants to do what's right for others. Values others above himself and will always look out for them over him. More street smarts then book smarts but intelligent in his own right. He worries a lot about his friends and the people he calls his family. Sneaky. Not easy to forgive if you hurt him. Trust issues. Insecure. Hardworking.
Physical Description: Will is around 5'5, very short for his age. Lean build, very skinny, unhealthily so. Light brown, slightly ginger hair, falls in waves across his face. Charcoal grey eyes with flecks of green. He has freckles all over his face with a heavy concentration over his nose and cheeks making him look very innocent (which, in truth, he is). Pale, vampire like skin with pink undertones.
Brief Backstory: His parents passed away when he was five and he was put into an orphanage. He made quite a few friends there who he know considers family. Unfortunately his best friend, Oliver, passed away leaving him feeling empty without him. He's still in the orphanage as no one wanted to adopt him, since they tended to want younger kids. This has left him with some deep insecurities.
Other: He's a big book reader and has a very large sweet tooth, however he doesn't get given sweets often.

@Oakiin

Character's name: Ranir (No stated last name)
Character's age: 47
Gender: Female
Personality: Ranir is tough and no-nonsense, but she's undeniably caring and kind. She seems hollow and apathetic about most aspects of life, but should you be lucky enough to become someone she cares about, she is fiercely loyal and protective of her loved ones. She has almost no more fu-*heccs to give, and at this point, has a one track focus on finding her husband. She's the type to never give up, and even though depression is a pain, she's fighting through it, because that's how she was taught to be. She's very independent, and would never admit to becoming a mother figure to anyone, (would probably deny it, actually), but that doesn't mean she won't. She's VERY maternal, really, and has a deep sense of other people, feeling the need to make sure they don't stray down any bad paths. If she were an animal, she would be a lioness.
Physical Description: She's on the shorter side, prolly 5'5'' ish. She's got short grey-brown hair and silver eyes. She's covered in scars and is well-muscled. On the other hand, she doesn't look particularly well cared for, her hair is always messy, there are shadows under her eyes, and she's way too thin. What muscle she has she's losing, but she still leads a pretty active life. She's got dark tan skin and a drawn, exhausted expression.
Brief Backstory: She really doesn't talk about it. At all. All she'll say is that she and her husband parted ways a while ago, and now she 'doesn't care anymore. I just need to be with him.'
Other: she is not from earth but don't worry about it

@Oakiin

(She needs one TwT And she will accept one I promise xD You can do the starter if you want, I don't have a particular preference on how this starts ^^ Probably somewhere kinda away from other humans, but otherwise, up to you :) I'll reply in the morning, it's p late for me ^^)

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Alrighty, see you soon - I might be active when you respond, if not I'll reply when I can, school and time zones and stuff)

Snow has just begun to fall as Willem left the old, warm building of the orphanage. It was only a little, not a lot to prevent him from going on his walk. He needed some air, however cold and chilly it may be out. He'd been cooped up all day, reading by the warmth of the fireplace and ignoring all his chose. He knew Johnathan was going to be mad at him but he'd do them later, he always got them done before bed so there wasn't an issue.

Christmas lights flickered on every tree and window there was, lighting up the streets. It was only late afternoon but it felt like later, considering how dark it was. Will knew that, well, maybe he shouldn't be out walking but he disregarded those thoughts, avoiding icy, slippy parts of the pathway as he headed for the outskirts of town.

It was always quiet out there, away from everyone else. The only real sounds were the distant buzz of cars and the faint twittering of birds in the trees. It was.. nice, peaceful. Besides, there was a park round there anyway and, even though he wouldn't admit it to anyone, going on a swing had always been a fun way to relax.

@Oakiin

(Okay! And np, I have a pretty random schedule, so who knows xD No rush ^^)

Ranir stared blankly at park. She hated to admit it, but she was beyond lost. She didn't even know what country she was in, much less what city. It was cold. She was used to that, but it bit deeper than usual for some reason. She couldn't really think why. Her shoulders slumped and she made her weary way over to a park bench, nearly collapsing onto it, finally giving up on moving any further that night. She'd have to try again in the morning.

The hopeless nature of her quest nagged at the back of her mind, try as she might to push it away. The world was a big place. The universe was a big place. The thought that she might be on a fool's mission had been lingering with her for months now, no matter how much she told herself she didn't care.
But I don't care, she told herself. If I die before I find him, so be it, but I'm not giving up.
The words sounded just as hollow as they had yesterday or a week ago. They gave her no hope or comfort, just a sadness. There were so many things she didn't know, but she knew her anger and grief too well. Maybe she regretted this undertaking. Maybe not. She really didn't know, but really, there was nothing else for her to do. This was the only door left open.

And she had to do it alone, apparently. Everyone else was gone. That was fine. I am fine. Nothing would change, and she wouldn't give up. She had to do this.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Will wrapped his extra coat around his shoulders, for once glad he'd done the smart thing and brought another layer. The winter chill was always worse around Christmas time, something that he thought he would get used to but in reality he never did. It was the same story every year.

It seemed the park had been decorated with extra lights this year and it brought the faintest smile to his face. He'd always liked the lights, ever since he was a kid. They were almost… magical, in a sense, a notion he had always found strange but special.

He was heading to the swing when he spotted the woman on the bench. She must be cold.. The snow had begun to fall a little heavier and without proper clothing she'd freeze. Will changed course, biting down on his lip as he walked up to her, "Um, excuse me, Miss? Are you.. all right?"

@Oakiin

Ranir had unconsciously allowed her eyes to close as the cold settled in. Now that she wasn't moving, what little warmth she'd held onto was slipping away. But as a voice broke through the silence, she jerked up, staggering to her feet as she tried to focus on what was in front of her.
"Who are you?" she mumbled, realizing she was a lot more out of it than she'd thought. She shook her head to clear it, staring at the young man in front of her. "Who are you?" she repeated, more clearly this time.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Will took a step back, blinking rapidly a few times before he answered, "I-I'm Willem, Miss. I was just out for a walk when I saw you…" He gestured to the bench vaguely, "And- And I came to ask if you would like another coat, I have two and it doesn't feel right leaving you in the cold."

@Oakiin

(I just realized these two are exactly the same heights xD)

"Oh. I…" she hesitated, trying to judge if this person was any sort of threat. He might have a weapon hidden somewhere. It was hard to tell under the winter gear. He was offering help, supposedly, but that could mean next to nothing. It might just be a ploy to get close enough to attack her. She blinked, and realized he was waiting for an answer.
He's a kid, she told herself sternly. He's probably not trying to attack you, and if he is, I think you can take him.
"Thank-you," she eventually settled on saying. "That…wouldn't go amiss, if you're offering."

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Lol, shorties)

Will let out a breath, a hint of a smile dancing on the corners of his lips, "I wouldn't have come over if I wasn't." He took off his extra coat, suddenly starting to feel the cold of the chilly winters night as he held it out to the woman, "It's freezing tonight and I wouldn't want you to die of hypothermia." Even though his woman was a complete stranger, leaving her with nothing warm to keep of the night seemed wrong.

@Oakiin

(xD Also sorry for the delay, my internet crapped out early in the day yesterday before I could get to my rp's, and it was awful all day long :/)

Ranir only hesitated a moment more before relenting to the temptation of warmth and accepting the coat. They were both about the same size, and she found it fit pretty well. There was an instant relief as the cold biting at her arms and torso faded slightly. Though her hands still felt almost numb, that was something she could reasonably deal with.
"Where did you come from then?" she finally asked brusquely. "You're pretty young to be out late at night, aren't you?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

(All good man)

The teenager blinked at the sudden question, having not expecting her to ask, "I-" He stuttered for a moment, cursing at himself for not being able to find his tongue all of a sudden, "I mean I'm sixteen," He rubbed at the back of his neck, "And the orphanage doesn't really care that I'm out, as long as I'm back soon and let Johnathan know where I am.." The old man was the closest he'd ever had a to a father figure, as long as he kept him up to date with his location then Willem could go where ever, whenever.

@Oakiin

That gave Ranir pause. She looked Willem over more closely, seeing how thin and pale he was, details that had been shadowed by the large coat he was wearing and the glowing light of the moon reflected off the snow.
"You don't have a family?" she asked slowly. That didn't sit right with her. He was too old to have lived his live family-less. Everyone needed parents, friends, siblings. No one should have to go through life alone.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Will shook his head, "No, it's just me," He shrugged, "Been like that for.. eleven years? I can't remember, pretty much since forever." Not that it mattered, clearly he was important enough to have a family otherwise why would he be alone? That's what he told himself, anyway. He knew it was wrong, but couldn't shake the thoughts without them returning but worse.

@Oakiin

Ranir felt a chill that had nothing to do with the winter air around her. Part of her warned her to get out now, take the jacket and leave. She was standing on the lip of a very slippery slope, one that filled her with a paralyzing fear. But she argued back with herself. She knew better than to make any sort of meaningful connection with this kid. She wouldn't let that happen. But what harm could possibly come from merely hanging out with him for a while? They were both alone. Maybe he could help her. It wasn't like she was going to adopt him or anything.
"Then maybe you can help me?" she asked hesitatingly. This was taking the first step onto the slope. She could still back out. "I…I'm afraid I'm a little lost."

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Oh, of course I can," Will had been born and raised in this city. On top of that he was a curious kid, any chance he could he'd go out and explore. It was something that Johnathan had reprimanded him for however he didn't mind. He knew this city like the back of his hand now, "Where are you headed? Anywhere in particular? Or I can point you in the direction of the cheapest hotel for the night. An actual good one though not some shitty two star place."

@Oakiin

Ranir hesitated, barely able to keep up with the boy. As she tried to sort the information in her exhausted mind, she realized she didn't really know what she was looking for, let alone where she was.
"Ah…I'm…looking for someone. I have no idea where he is, however." It was a discouraging thing to say out loud, but there was nothing she could do about it. It was true, after all. "And i don't know where I am at all. I don't know what city this is."

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Well you're in a small city outside of (insert place bc idk where you want this set)." Will explained, glancing around the surrounding area, "Technically this is the outskirts of the city but the town center isn't too far from here, I can take you there if you'd like?" He offered. The perks of living in a small city, everything was close and most people knew each other or at least knew of each other. Hopefully he'd be able to help her.
