I've had this idea for a while, and it kind of just died out, but anywhooo

Things to know about this
-This roleplay takes place in the mid-1700s, so historical accuracy would be nice
-It could be MxM, FxF, or MxF, honestly, I really do not mind
-I'd prefer that the two were adults or older teens, but I'd really prefer that they were adults, but I digress
-Good grammar would be really nice, and just uhm yeah. . .
-Uhm, I'd like a writing sample, please just to see where you are at with you're writing and stuff like that.
-If there was anything I missed, please let me know

                         Okay so here's the plot

Muse A grew up in a very sheltered quiet life, knowing nothing of evil or bloodshed. Their father made sure of it, he had taken the child from a busy social life, etiquette classes and things of that nature after the child's mother passed on due to an illness. For a while, they lived in England's countryside, but after Muse A trying to leave a couple of times to begin a life of their own, their father decided that it was time to leave, where he could truly protect his child, or in Muse A's opinion control them better. They arrived in St. Lucia in the night and eventually Muse A got comfortable in their new life, their father had hired servants to take care of them and of the estate, although they could care less of that. They truly would have just been happier and more content by themself. But late one night, when Muse A's father had left the island on business that seemed to be about Muse A, but they weren't sure, all they knew was that they would get some time to themself. After a few days of their father being gone, they decided to dismiss the servants allow them to enjoy the holiday that would be celebrated on the island. On the night before the holiday, an unfamiliar ship pulled into the harbor and began to fire a volley at the sleepy port. People were awakened from their sleep as pirates ran through the streets, destroying and killing anyone in their sight.

Muse B, was the captain of the ship, they too grew up in a wealthy family, but being the youngest of three children, was given nothing as their inheritance, and was extremely hurt by their late father's actions, that they decided to go against their parent's wishes and hopes for them and joined the business of privateering, soon they grew bored with that and decided to do something much more interesting and rewarding. They began to pirate islands and would sell the loot, occasionally keeping some of the things for themself and for their crew, but nothing truly satisfied them. For some reason they decided to loot Marigot Bay, it was very off course, but something drew them to it. As the ship docked at the port Muse B noticed a large manor off in the distance. They called some of their men with them to go loot the home, it looked as though it had many riches there. As they entered the home he noted all the treasures inside and their men immediately began to take everything inside. They made their way up the stairs of the home and ran into Muse A who had been trying to flee the home. Noting that Muse A was worth much more than what could be found in the house. They decided to take Muse A prisoner on the ship, perhaps for ransom, or for whatever they could be sold for. But what happens if the two fall for each other, or if Muse A is rescued?

(That’s all I’ll dump on you for now. Lol. I’ll get carried away and be here all day if I keep going.)

Lionel Gray was sitting on his bed, thinking to himself. He thought of the world beyond the Castle walls. Lionel thought of a world that wasn't all Gray and dull. A world that was filled with children and people. But then again, There was no escape. He stared at the mirror, with a dull expression on his face. No smile, nor frown. His mother walked in and looked at him,
"Lionel." His mother said, a rude tone in her voice. "What are you doing? Aren't you supposed to get ready for your marriage?" His mother asked, shaking her head. "Father will be furious!" She sighed. Lionel lifted his head and shifted it to his mother. "Mother. I know, But I will not." He said, getting up. "I have no intention of staying here any longer." He chuckled. His mother raised her brow. "Don't speak you me like that. You're getting married whether you like it or not!" She yelled. We'll see about that…Mother.. He thought.

Josh looked at the girl and examined her. This might be another one of their tricks… He thought looking into her eyes. "You aren't another one of their little tricks…are you?" He said walking back a few steps. The only reason he was here was because he was taken and he experimented with many beasts and otherworldly items such as the train. He'd been stuck here for months and was forgotten about. "How the hell did you end up here?"

Alright, sorry this took so long!

The man’s boots burned brands into the snow, eyes just as fiery as he stepped toward the cliffside. The world, for just a moment, was deathly silent. It was nothing baleful, however. More of an inexcusable quietness that left his heartbeat the only thing audible.
The first time he had ever seen the sun. The sky was an absolute mess of warmer tones, that reminded him so much of his home. Although these hues seemed softer than the piercing crimson he was used to, while they still offered wretched, sickening familiarity.
It was only then, when he saw the first scorching rays cut through the effervescent cloud cover, did he cry. Large, unhindered tears that fell from his eyes and drilled pricks into the snow. He was clueless as to why they came, but ceased to question it. Perhaps it was the relief, coursing through each capillary coating his skin like infused power. Perhaps it was the way he clenched his jaw, clenched his fists.
And perhaps it was from his journey there, leaving him staggering forward only to drop to his knees. The way he cradled the snow in each bloody hand, like it meant the world to him.
But… Perhaps it was the way he could feel his blood tugging him down, back to the very beginning, and he knew he could never stay for long.

Alright, I like both of your writing styles, but I think I might go with @LittleRiver for this. Thank you @Darkness_Of_The_Void, and perhaps we can do another rp together, later down the road? You're a very talented writer, but that sort of style currently is just not what I'm looking for in this roleplay.
