Minor content warning for many sexual innuendos and possible violence lol

character A is. . . sassy, to say the least; they constantly flirt, they slip into places they're not supposed to be and have most likely had sex with most of the known demigods. they pull all the strings and make sure everything goes the way they want, and they make sure they get whatever they want. . . and currently, they want the main protag

character B is basically the same as character A, but likes doing things within the system of the kingdom, instead of within the system of divinity; they want control over A, just like A wants control over them

their goals are both equally as devious: control of the rest of the world, and control of each other

so yeah lol- id like to be A, just because why not (even tho they'll be roughly on the same moral levels, they don't have to have the same personality, just similar goals)
also, just a pairing note: id love this to be FxF

Personality-
Basic Traits: Articulate, athletic, capable, charming (to specific people/things, of course), clever, confident, creative, elegant, ambitious, deceptive, dominating/domineering, experimental, irreverent, calculating, sometimes a bit crude, disloyal, fickle, graceful, power-hungry, sadistic, scheming, treacherous and vindictive (yay, finally done with that after, like, three hours 🫠)

Power(s)- Sticher's Boon, Gentry's Persuasion, The Liar's Truth
Basic Outline: Stitcher's Boon lets her. . . disassemble. . . people and animals and graft body parts to other things and have them work flawlessly. Gentry's Persuasion is a passive power that increases her desirability and beauty to any humanoid being, whether that be a demigod or an elf. The Liar's Truth allows her to lie, which is an ability no other type of fae possesses besides the Bond Fae.
Drawbacks: Her Stitcher's Boon relies on her blood to work.
Inherent Limitations: None of her powers work on true gods or other such fully divine beings. Since demigods are originally mortal, her powers can work on them.
Special Applications (Optional): N/A

(I’m on at least once a day, and I try to respond daily for an rp that’s supposed to be active. However, I sometimes go on hiatuses due to life events so I’ll let you know if I need to be off for a day or two haha.)

(Also, what time period/universe is this set in? Mostly I wanna know if this is medieval/historical fantasy or urban fantasy. Also, is it okay if my character is a trans woman? I have a really good character in mind for this!!)

Name: Vivienne Diem
Nicknames/Titles: Vivi, Young Scholar, Encyclopedia, Young Prodigy (all these were given by her mentor)
Age: 26
Ethnicity/Race: Afro-Latina (known as Rocklander here), human
Gender: Trans woman, she/her
Sexuality: Omnisexual (preference for women)

Appearance-
Hair Color & Length: Well kept black hair, with tightly coiled 4c curls that falls around her face to her shoulders in a fluffy ‘fro
Eye Color: Deep, deep brown, almost black, like spilt ink
Height: 5’4”
Weight: Uhh idk the exact number but I’d say she’s a lil curvy.
Skin Color: Medium brown with freckles.
Clothing Style: Basically just scholar’s robes, glasses, and underneath the robes simple pants and a tunic.
Body Type/Shape: Square curvy, as in she passes for femme pretty well but doesn’t have like mega curves. A little chubby, and has gynecomastia so basically itty bitty titty boobies due to a hormone imbalance that works in her favor.
Voice Claim (Optional): Omg, the singer from the song Rule #4-Fish Inside a Birdcage. So pretty and deep alto, just like Vivi.

Personality-
Basic Traits: Studious, almost to the point of sacrificing her sanity. Vivi really just. Doesn’t care about herself unless it gets her closer to her goals. She isn’t particularly self obsessed but she doesn’t have anyone besides her mentor that she cares about in her life. Struggles with a lot of self hatred and perfectionism, she’ll never be good enough.
Biases: Anyone that gets her closer to her goals is a friend of hers, everyone else is an enemy.
Political Lean (Optional): Anti-monarchist, believes that only a benevolent dictatorship led by herself will meet the needs of the people.
Motivations (Optional): A bit of an Aaron Burr (Hamilton Musical-god forbid irl.) in that she doesn’t really disclose her feelings on things, she’s always waiting for an opportunity to strike. But between you and me, she wants to rule. She wants to rule so badly it hurts her and tears apart her guts.
Flaws: Perfectionist, through and through.
Hobbies: Murdering and sleeping her way to the top. Mostly murdering tho she doesn’t really care that much about sex.
Talents: She’s wicked smart, like, literally wickedly.
Theme Song(s): Blow My Brains Out-Tikkle Me, You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Wants You Dead-Saint Motel

Power(s)- Healing- Cannot bring back the dead, but anything else is fair game, she’s really good at what she does. One-sided Telepathy-she can send thoughts to others’ minds, and give them suggestions in their minds that can basically be perceived as their true feelings. She uses this a lot to manipulate folks. Telekinesis- she can lift anything with her mind. You’ll see why this sucks in ‘drawbacks’.
Drawbacks: Healing- requires blood of another living being to do. Telepathy- no real drawbacks other than she can’t read the other’s mind. Telekinesis- if she lifts something that she realistically wouldn’t be able to lift otherwise, she gets sick. Like, deathly sick.
Inherent Limitations: see drawbacks I think I covered everything there.
Special Applications (Optional): N/A? I think?

Serena had a very relaxed and disrespectful posture as she stood in front of the current king of the largest military nation on the western continent.

She was there under the guise of negotiating a trade route between Unseelie lands and the kingdom. In reality, she was there to see the princess - a supposedly beautiful genius of a young woman. Rather, newly-minted young woman.

She could see traces of the man she ws, but very few. The scholarly woman had done a wonderful job on herself, nearly as good as the elves or even the Fae with their innate ability to alter their forms.

". . . so in conclusion, our lord King Lucitiat wishes the trade route to cut from your capital, through your town of Įgfried, our military base Æfterdwert, to our capital. To reiterate trade items, yours shall be Feldhãld mares and ebony wood, and our trade items will be Spįlken silk and Grændwen wine." she finishes politely.

During the entire interaction, she'd kept her gaze away from the princess, and had kept most of her face hidden beneath the wide brim of her hat. But no, she raises her head, her eyes locking onto the princess' teasingly, knowing her passive charm would start its work upon the princess, and partly the king.

The king clears his throat. "Um, yes. Very well. Tell King Lucitiat we of the Feldhãld kingdom agree to these terms."

Serena smiles delightedly. "Thank you, esteemed ally. We wish you the best of life. As for you, princess. . ."

She does something none but the Fae would be brave enough to do. She slides up to the princess' throne and kisses the back of her hand. "I shall see you soon enough, I think."

She watches the princess for a reaction.

Vivienne is bored to tears all throughout the assembly, wanting nothing more than to go back to her studies. She doesn’t pay much attention, merely staring off into space thinking of better things. Trade routes meant nothing to her, the people needed a strong ruler who would drive out the filth that was permeating every aspect of life.

As a young sorceress, Vivi often found herself wondering if it was all worth it. If she shouldn’t just take the kingdom by force, damn the consequences. She already has gotten rid of most of her fathers advisors and replaced them with advisors of her own. She’s already ensured that her newly born brother would have no chance at the throne. And yet…

The Fae stalks Vivi with her gaze, and approaches. When her calloused hand is taken in Serena’s slender one, she doesn’t know what to think other than a sort of disgust at that simpering, yet oh so smug face. That’s Fae for you, of course, but Vivi preferred the charms of Orcs comparatively. At least they said what they meant most of the time, even if Fae didn’t lie they would confuse you with words.

Vivi narrows her eyes at the Fae, knowing that even with all the charm in the world she wouldn’t be able to overtake Vivi’s mind and ambitions. She withdraws her hand as quickly as possible, yet also as slowly as is polite. “I dare say that it might end up being too soon, diplomat.” she says, voice distant and already her mind fading off to different things.

@lord-of-the-carnival group

Serena chuckles, her eyes flashing darkly, reading into the depths of the princess' mostly neutral expression, and the meaning to her words.

"Please, call me Halih." she replies softly, knowing the power in this princess having her real name. "As for how soon you'll see me. . . well. . ."

She steps away and bows. "We'll see together, now won't we?"

She twirls and strides away, leaving a lingering scent of elderberries, pomegranate and vanilla.

It would be later that night that the Fae would be sitting on the windowsill of Vivienne's room, her hat abandoned elsewhere, her gown bright but her hair an ashy purple to reflect the dim light of the moon and the clouds that were rolling across it.

She was filing her nails to perfect talon points, and occassionally blew away the dust that came from the endeavour.

She looks in and sees the woman she'd been waiting for, starting to get undressed.

Vivienne shook her head as the Fae turned away. It wasn’t her business how soon they’d see each other, it was doubtful negotiations would go on much longer and yet the Fae had arranged in advance accommodation for Serena for the rest of the week-six days. The scent lingered on Vivi, and she promptly went to go back to her studies once the Fae was out of view.

——

Vivi had had a long day. It was tiring, stuck in this palace with little to do but scheme, and yet scheming took up so much damn time. She removed her crown and handed it off to a trusted servant to be returned to its glass case, and then went to her room to sleep.

Vivi removed her robes, mostly ceremonial, and folded each piece of her outfit neatly and stacked it for the servants to wash. All she was in was her tunic and pants and soon even the tunic was gone, revealing her chest and small, soft curves and slight folds of fat on her hips, stomach and scarred back making her frame seem even more soft and delicate than before. She began to prepare herself for bed, spraying her hair with water and then running some oils through it; afterwards she wrapped her hair in a silk scarf and stripped out of her pants and into a sleeping robe. Even then, she didn’t notice the Fae leering at her through the window on the generously wide sill. It was only when she took off her glasses did she need to put them back on and do a double-take.

When she saw the Fae, anger coursed through her. Vivi immediately shut the open window, catching the folds of the Fae’s dress in between the sliding glass and frame. She closed the shades, and slowly began to panic. How much of her had the Fae seen? Specifically, had she seen anything too… intimate? The scars crossing her back, the body that was anything but feminine in Vivi’s mind… well, even then, she was still a woman. Being born in a body that didn’t always fit didn’t make that any less true. Whilst she was musing, she realized that it was terribly rude to close the window on a diplomat, even a pesky, spying, sniveling Fae.

She opened the curtains to see the smug woman was still there. Dammit, maybe that was worse. She opened the window, and growled out- “Were you watching me change?!”

@lord-of-the-carnival group

"Possibly. Why would I though? You have small boobs." Serena chuckles.

She slips past Vivienne somehow, entering the princess' room.

"Very library-ish, you know. Maybe a bit of color would help improve that attitude of yours." the fae grins, folding her delicate hands behind her back and leaning against a bookshelf. "Or maybe it wouldn't. Seems to me you are a very dour and single-minded woman. Not a bad thing, actually - I find it commendable in warriors. However, you are not a warrior."

As she speaks, her eyes dance and jump with the mad frenzy of a Fae woman with a crazy idea in mind. Something about the scars crisscrossing the princess' back and stomach intrigued her beyond compare.

Vivi didn’t respond to the comment obviously directed to make her feel bad about her own body. She actually liked her body most of the time, there were just a few changes she’d make to have it function better. But for now, she had to get rid of that Fae.

“I’m going to politely ask you to leave once. Then, I’m going to have someone get rid of you. You’ll be clapped in irons by morning if you resist.” she said, ignoring any comments made by the Fae. “Now. Please leave, I’m not going to tolerate disrespect in my chambers or anywhere else for that matter.”

Vivi waited for a response. Upon seeing there likely would be no changes made, she went to signal for a guard.

@lord-of-the-carnival group

"Oh no, I mean no direspect, princess. I am simply stating what obvious truths there are about you." Serena laughs.

"Besides, the guards are only human. You may be able to see partly through my charm, but they won't be able to. Calling the guards is, and always will be, an ultimately fruitless endeavor on your part." she adds.

Vivi quietly scoffed, the small huffing noise barely heard over the Fae’s blabbering. “Do you want me to pin you myself? I’ve always thought a Fae would be useful to add to my repertoire of fallen foes.” she turned back for the briefest of moments, and then decided that she would see about calling the Fae’s bluff. She whistled, and guards immediately filled the room. Vivi put the suggestion in their heads to not tolerate any charm by the Fae, and kept filling their heads with such thoughts until their own ideas fell silent. The feeble minded always responded to her charms, she mused.

“Guards, cleanse my room of this disgusting creature.” she stared into Serena’s eyes and gave her a grotesquely smug look.

@lord-of-the-carnival group

"Oh, sweetheart, you can try, but you'll fail." Serena laughs.

At the words "disgusting creature," the Fae woman chuckles. A single blink later and the air was filled with pink mist, each of the guards getting pulled into atoms before being reconstructed into a grotesque mass of legs, arms, heads and torsos.

She fixes her dress and orders the newly made monstrosity to stand guard outside the door and smirks at Vivienne.

"I never said that I would use my charms, though." she says, examining her nails.

Vivi felt bile rise up in her throat, yet she swallowed it back down. “Fix them, now. Or the whole trade route… deal, it’s off.” she said, not a single notion of a quaver in her voice. “I’m not playing games, Fae. Your kingdom will wish it never sent you. You’ll be the worst embarrassment in centuries of wars between our peoples, and in the following centuries of peace.”

She turned away, not wanting to see the blood trail seeping into the carpet. Her eyes went to the window. It made her sick, that this Fae thought it could waltz around like it owned the place with no room for consequence.

@lord-of-the-carnival group

"That's not up for you to decide anymore, sweetheart. The king is already fully under my control. Besides, the deal is fake. I'm a stray Gentry, the King has no control over me." Serena grins. "I'm really just here for you."

"As for those comments about me being an embarassment, are you sure you aren't just projecting? After all, do you really think your father truly accepts you as this?" she adds, snickering at the nerves she knew must be hitting.

Deleted user

Vivi stood a bit shocked, but eventually just shrugged. She knew the Fae was trying to cut deep, but she didn’t usually let the words of non-person scum get to her. This thing wasn’t even sane, more like some babbling child at best and barking dog at truthfully. Yes, a barking dog, that’s what this thing was. And dogs could be trained. Maybe she could leverage this dog’s obsession to her advantage.

“My father is not relevant, not when you’re here. Something so… fickle, temporary, in the scope of a power like yours? But I digress. You obviously want me for some scheme, but may I suggest treating me like something worth saving?” she said, walking to the shelves of books and leafing through the pages of one particularly thick volume. Vivi eventually opened to the correct page, and withdrew a knife. “What’s to stop me from taking my own life, just to keep you from getting what you want? I’m sure you’d find something else to entertain you, sure, but losing doesn’t seem to be your style.” she held the knife up to her throat, the blade just pressing in enough to make indents in her skin.
