Ok. Here he is!

Name: Larson “Lars” Carter
Age: (I feel like this depends on your character‘s age)
Personality: He's a very “do what I please” kinda guy. A bit unpredictable at times but usually gives the appearance of a causal, laid-back type. Though, he likes to think of himself as cunning and clever. But he does have a side that is very protective, caring, and gentle.
Appearance: short messy black hair, mischievous emerald green eyes, thin lips that are almost always smirking… (I can see him often getting compared to Loki… And he will eat it up!) though he's only 5’7”… and hates it. He also has a couple of decent scars on his back and left shoulder.
Likes: music, rainy days, getting in and out of trouble…
Dislikes: dealing with people, societal events, being “forced” to dance with someone… though he does like dancing.

Appearance: She's ginger, with some front streaks of blonde. she's got some freckle's on her face, and eyes that can be described as a slow burning fire.
she's around 5'6 in height.
she's got a lanky athletic build, and a small chest.

A Great ball was underway, a social event for the higher up nobles of Britain. Rachel was among these nobles, though her family was hardly staying afloat, since her mother had passed away.
Her father urged her to get with a son of some of the higher ups, so that they wouldn't be struggling so much.
She loathed to interact with other boys, most of them nowhere near she would even consider matchmaking with them.
She stood to the side, looking into the crowd of dancing ladies and gentlemen.

Larson Carter sighed as he looked around at yet another ball he was forced to attend at his family’s insistence. Honestly, he couldn't tell this one apart from any of the ones he’s been to before and likely any that he would be to in the future. He picked up a glass as one of the servers walked past and aimlessly meandered through the outskirts of the crowd.

She spotted Larson from across the room, but didnt really think much of him. He was just another male in a room of suitors. None of them were particularly lining up to dance with her, which made her father upset.
He glared at her from the corner of his eye, nudging her towards a group of boys talking amongst themselves. She didn't move much from the spot, and he moved to excuse himself from who he was talking with. He grabbed her arm firmly and pulled her away from everyone else.
"Stop being so difficult and go find someone to dance with, you will know what will happen when we get home if you don't. Try not to disappoint me this time, like you manage to do every time."

Larson made polite enough conversation when someone approached him but was always relieved when he was left in peace again. He played the part of a happy enough partygoer for the sake of his family's standards in society. That wasn't to say he didn't enjoy parties, he just hated how people always bothered him about finding a wife or other boring subjects. To him, a party should be a time of enjoyment and high spirits. He sighed at the thought before taking another sip of his glass.

He did notice a slight disturbance across the room between a young lady and some man but dared not make a scene to try to interrupt it.

she sighed internally, just nodding along to him since they were still technically in public right now.
"yes father.' She spoke it through gritted teeth. She hated this man, but she had no choice but to go with what he was demanding of her. She immediately separated from him as soon as he dismissed. Almost rushing away from him, in the direction that Larson was standing in, without realizing he was there.

Larson raised a brow and set his drink aside before casually walking toward the agitated lady. “Are you alright, miss?” he asked calmly once they were close enough. Even though he didn't know what that… quarrel was about, he felt it was as good a time as any to do his good deed for the day. Besides, learning a bit about whatever drama she had endured was likely to be far more interesting than most other conversations held at this ball.

She stared up at the man swiftly approaching her, asking her if she was alright. She was about to run her mouth at him and tell him how not alright she was when she saw her dad out of the corner of her eye, watching her. She sighed softly,
"I'm fine, it's nothing to worry about." She spoke, holding her hands in front of her as she spoke. She hated this, but she needed to act this way or else she would suffer when they went home.

Larson raised a brow at the girl's dismissive answer but kept the rest of his face casual. He didn't want to cause a scene… at least not right now and embarrass the poor woman. “I'm not sure if I believe that but I can understand if you don't want to talk about your problems with a complete stranger.” he couldn't help but smirk. “Would it help if I introduced myself?”

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

"it would be better if I knew who I was talking too, I will also introduce myself." She spoke, internally sighing at how she had to act. "My name is Rachel Watson." She spoke smoothly, she had practiced in the past on how to make a lasting impression on people, but that was when she still had her mother around.
"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

@FanfictionFanatic group

“A pleasure, Miss Watson. I am Larson Carter.” he bowed as he was expected to when making introductions. It was a tedious action but an unfortunately necessary one in these circumstances. “Now… would you like to dance?” he asked. “We can talk more with fewer people listening in.”

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

"thank you for asking, a dance would be nice." She spoke in return, looking at him. "I do not know what your trying to achieve…but you will get the same answers even if we are alone Mr Carter." She spoke, staring him down.

Larson smiled at her defensive behavior, not taking any offense to it. “Believe what you will but I am not trying to achieve anything beyond assuring that you were not in any danger a few moments ago.” he answered smoothly before bowing to lead her onto the dance floor.

She took a deep breath, making sure she wasn't getting mad over something like this. There's no way this guy seriously wanted to help her out the kindness of his heart.
"I'm not in any danger that concerns you." She spoke, remaining calm.
