I have been writing a book with my sister for the past few years and we have a series title but not the first book. The book is set in a fictional universe similar to the Medieval time period, and it's about a 19 year old princess who is to become Queen earlier than she expected. At her coronation, something goes horribly wrong, and she is forced to leave her friends/family behind and flee for her life.
She, along with a 20 year old horse trainer/soldier, must figure out a plan to free her family and get her home back. the thing is, though, that the horse-trainer-guy doesn't know she's basically the Queen for a good chunk of the book.
Includes action, romance, betrayal, and some horses :P
Any ideas are welcome, I'm getting kinda desperate, rip

Maybe something like "The Traveling Queen" or "The Plight of the Outcast Queen" or "Recovering the Crown"? Do you have any more details about your story? It's hard to think of a good title without knowing the full story.

ooh those are cool
Okay, yeah….
So the series is most likely gonna be a trilogy and it's called The Acarian Chronicles (the country she is from is called Acara)
The princess (Adalynn) is fleeing because at the coronation, some rival lord who outwardly hates her staged a coup and forced her to run.
The main charactes meet totally by chance when she is fleeing the castle, and at the start they sort of get on each others' nerves, but as they go, they become friends. The actual relationship aspect gets complicated.
We have a few different POVs, one of which covers some of what's going on at the castle during the whole thing.
About 2/3 of the way in, Adalynn finds out that someone close to her betrayed her and is working with the guy who threw her out (it's not the horse trainer).
Involves fleeing the country and a month-ish long voyage at sea (2x), and by the end, someone does a stupid thing lol

Hmm, maybe something like "The Queen's Odyssey" or "The Royal Runaway" or maybe something like "Arcara's darkest hour". I think it is important to have a title that shows the direction and theme of the plot without actually giving away something that would spoil it. But then again it can also be something less literal and more metaphorical about your plot if you prefer that. I'm just an amateur though, so don't take me too seriously lol.

WOW those are way better than what I was coming up with. I've been racking my brain cause this project is like 4 years old rip. Hoping to publish by the end of the year so these ideas are immensely helpful :)
I will run them by my sister for sure!
I haven't seen you around, also saw that your profile says you're new! Hello and welcome :) I'm Gabs

On the side of something less literal… "Two of Staves" (as in walking sticks, IE runaways). Or if she's fighting for her rightful place… "Two of Crowns." Yeah, like tarot cards.
Or single words "Betrayed", "Scheme", "Redemption" (you said it is a trilogy.) "The Queen", "The Soldier", "The Crown"
