Darkness.. That was all I felt.. I didn't feel the impact of my fall, but I seen kachan reaching out for my hand. I felt the cold winter wind whipping at my face as I fell.
Tears burned in our eyes as we saw my last moments on the earth. Then my vision quit, and a ringing in my ears reminded me that I was still alive.

After that, most of it's a blur. Now I know only a cloudy body. Much like the man I call father. I am what they call a nomu.. A mix of multiple quirks into one body. So far I have a quirk called warp gate and all for one. I have a brother! His name is tomura, he's very protective of me.. He says I'm fragile. I'm kept away from heroes, the only one I ever get to see is a man named Eraserhead, he says that I'm going to go to school for heroes. It's called UA!

Izuku closed his book, setting down his pencil as he dawned his school attire, messing up the tie

As the day started, Bakugo sighed softly to himself. While he never showed it, he cared a lot about Izuku, and after the other jumped off the school, he had never been the same. His mental state had deteriorated when no one was around. Towards others, he appeared to be the same, easily angered, overly confident, and always ready to prove that he was the best, destined to be the top hero one day, but when he was alone, he spent a lot of time taking his feelings out on his belongings or himself. His grief heavily manifested as anger, especially towards himself. He was the one who told Izuku to jump, after all.

He had regretted his comment the moment after he said it, but Izuku was such an optimistic and determined kid that he didn't think that he would actually jump. Then, one day, after school, he saw the other heading up towards the rooftop when he usually would have been heading home. Out of curiosity and concern, he followed. That's when he saw Izuku standing at the edge of the rooftop. He remembered the following events and comments perfectly.

"So, you're actually gonna jump? You finally realized that you won't have a quirk unless you do," he scoffed. "Pathetic."

"You're right, Kacchan…! What good is a quirkless kid…? I have nothing to live for anymore…so I'm just gonna give up…!"

The comment was uncharacteristic coming from Izuku, and Bakugo still didn't understand why he kept adding to it. No one was there. Why was he keeping the act up? He regretted each statement that he made, but he kept making them.

"Fine by me!"

"Of course you're okay with it. Good luck living out my dreams. I'm done with this life. Goodbye, Kacchan."

Izuku gave Bakugo another glance before stepping over the gate on the rooftop. He was truly prepared to jump, and after a moment, he took a deep breath and did just that. As he began to fall, Bakugo reached his hand out to grab the other, barely missing as he grabbed the air instead.

"Damn it, Deku…!" he yelled. "You weren't supposed to jump! God fucking damn it!"

As he finished yelling, he noticed that Izuku's body had already hit the ground. He rushed to the bottom of the school, and while the boy was still alive, by the time that any help had arrived, he was gone. There was no way to save him.

He shook his head as the scene vividly played in his mind. It happened at random ever since he saw Izuku jump. His final goodbye played in his head constantly, the lifeless tone, the hint of sadness in it, everything haunted him. Even as he was trying to get ready for his new beginning at UA, the memory replayed itself over and over. It was something that he could never get rid of.

Shaking his head again as the scene finally ended, Bakugo left to go to UA. The walk there was uneventful, and he didn't interact with anyone. Once he got to the classroom, he simply put on a smug grin as he went to his desk. While he was far from happy, forever regretting his actions from a couple of months ago and traumatized from watching his friend die, he had to put up his act of arrogance and determination. There was no way that he'd admit that he drove his own friend to suicide, and he would never admit that he regretted it every second of his life, either. That would always be a secret hidden by his arrogant persona and desire to become the best.

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Bakugo wasn't sure what to do when he saw Tomura enter the classroom with Izuku. For a moment, he thought everything was in his imagination. No one was reacting to the villain in the room, nor were they acknowledging the presence of someone who should have been dead. However, he overheard someone welcoming Izuku to the classroom, so he was real. How? How did he come back? He died! He wasn't supposed to be alive! It was a relief, but how was he alive?

"You're supposed to be dead!" he yelled at Izuku. "How the hell are you alive…and with a quirk, too…!? Damn it, Deku! You can't even die properly!"

He growled and stormed off, although as he passed Izuku, there was an apologetic look in his eyes, and a genuine one, too. Even his tone was laced with regret if someone were to listen carefully. He was only expressing how he felt through anger because there were people around and he really didn't know how else to express his feelings. He wasn't angry with Izuku for being alive. It was a relief. His confusion as to how just manifested as anger as he left to process everything.

@Adam_gets_railed_by_men

Izuku seemed shocked, flinching a bit as tomura immediately took a stance to protect “he's alive because I saved him! “ the boy yelled back, seeing the smaller run after the dog of a teen

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Bakugo gave another growl towards Tomura after he heard the comment. How did that make any sense? Izuku had died in his arms, and Tomura was nowhere to be seen when the death occurred. How did he manage to bring someone back from the dead? Nothing about the situation made any sense. All he knew was that his friend was somehow there, although he was different.

"Saved him…?! I held him as he died…and you were nowhere to be seen…! You brought him back, somehow, but you didn't save him…!" he yelled.

After he yelled at Tomura, he turned around again and continued to run off. He stopped once he found himself in an open area that he could be alone in. He then fired some explosions, one of his ways of expressing his anger. He was confused, and he had to express it.

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Bakugo couldn't even hear Izuku over the sound of his explosions, so he didn't even turn to look at him. He didn't want to acknowledge him, anyway. He was confused and it showed itself as anger, creating a rage that needed to be expressed through his quirk. While he was relieved to see Izuku again, he wasn't sure what to say. His only friend, who he thought was dead, driven to suicide by his comments, was alive, even though he remembered watching him die. He didn't know how to process it all, so he expressed all of his confusion through anger, the only emotion he really knew.

Izuku seemed worried for his friend, knowing katsukis backlash from his quirk was severe. He walked behind to the other, hugging him from behind like he usually would when they were alone.

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Katsuki wanted to fight Izuku away from him in his angry state, but he couldn't. Of course, he didn't know why the other was actually hugging him after everything that happened, but the confusion didn't add to his anger. He was just surprised that Izuku still seemed to care about him after everything that happened between them.

"What are you doing…?" he asked. His tone almost seemed annoyed, but there was a hint of sadness to it. "You're going to get hurt again if you stay near me… I'm sorry for what I did, but I'd prefer it if you stayed away so I don't hurt you like that again…"

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Katsuki sighed softly. He seemed to understand what Izuku was trying to tell him, but he didn't understand why he was so determined to stay there when he had done so many bad things to him in the past. He wanted to start over, but at the same time, he wasn't sure how to. He was still scared that he'd end up hurting the other pretty badly, although he only admitted it because they were alone.

"Why are you staying…?" he asked. "Look, I apologize for what I did to you, but I don't want it to happen again… I watched you die a death that I pushed you to… I don't want to do that again…!"

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Katsuki sighed softly. It seemed like Izuku's memory of the event was a bit messed up if he remembered it being a murder, as he jumped off the building himself. He was there when the entire thing happened, and the scene was forever burned into his memory. It haunted him daily, and he usually had to relive it at least once a day. Sometimes it caused him to snap, so he would just have to hope that it never happened while he was in class. The last thing the other students needed to see was him breaking down and losing track of reality for a moment.

"It's…a false memory, and I apologize for everything that I've done, whether you remember or not, but I really don't want to hurt you…" he admitted. "However, I get really angry for no reason, and then I snap. I really don't want to hurt you again…"

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Katsuki shook his head. He never saw anyone else on the roof, and the memory was forever burned into his mind, destined to replay itself at random times, at least once a day. The memory was so consuming that it completely took him out of reality at times, too. It was a very vivid and traumatic memory.

"I…I didn't see him…" he sighed. "The scene is burned into my memory, and it's not gonna leave… I just…don't want to hurt you…"

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Katsuki simply tilted his head in confusion with Izuku's actions. He wasn't sure what the other was trying to tell him, although he understood the words. Love was something that he didn't understand, so he had no idea what the other wanted from him.

"What…?" he asked. "Love? You love what?"

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

Katsuki was completely speechless for a moment. He was barely sure what love was since all he really knew was anger, that pure rage that fueled most of his actions and masked just about any emotion he was capable of. He really didn't know what love felt like.

"I'm…not sure what that means…" he admitted. "Love…isn't something I really know…"

@Adam_gets_railed_by_men

Izuku made a sad sounding girble and hugged Bakugo, that being till shigaraki picked him up “it's probably better you don't know love” the crusty boi said. Holding izuku as if he was a small child “com on nomu.. Let's get to class “ he smiled at izuku and began to walk off

@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh

By that point, it was unclear what was going on, but there was nothing that could really be done. It was strange that Shigaraki got involved in the situation, but he seemed to be an older brother figure to Izuku, so there wasn't much that Bakugo could do about it. He eventually just followed them and went to class himself, hoping to get through the day without the memory of Izuku's death haunting him.
