Water… Cerulean looked around weakly as he wandered the empty land. He could see a town in the distance, close enough that he thought he could at least get close without collapsing. There was no water around him, and he had been walking all day with nothing to eat or drink. His skin was dry, his vision was hazy, he couldn't think, he was very pale, and the scales on his tail were flaking a bit. He exhaled sharply as he stumbled, only barely managing to keep himself on his feet. When he was within about fifty feet or so of the town entrance, he paused, swayed, and then collapsed in the grass with a muffled yelp of pain.

Ah, the breeze flowing through Lionel's body. He doesn't usually fly. Especially in the town. A very noisy one, the town is. Lionel always flies on the outskirts of the town. Lionel saw a creature fall to the ground, and it looked hurt. Lionel was curious, what creature had wandered near his town. He quickly flew near it and landed. It was knocked out. A sea dragon hybrid… What is this doing here? He thought. He looked at its scales, dehydrated. Lionel decided to take it to the nearest lake by the town. Once he got there he put the sea dragon in the water and hoped for the best. He sat near the water, hoping the young creature would awake.

Cerulean stirred weakly after a bit of time soaking in the water, opening his eyes to look up at the stranger who had brought him here. He sat up and rubbed at his eyes, starting to drink some of the water so he could feel better. He was too tired to try and talk to the man yet, but he was grateful to have been brought here. It took him a few minutes to be ready to talk, at which point he looked up at Lionel. "Mm… hello…?" He shifted a bit. "Uhm…"

Lionel quickly shifted in Cerulean's direction. He was surprised that Cerulean had woken up that fast. "Hello." He said, warmly. Lionel was in a sort of a panic mode. He had never interacted with anyone but his townspeople. "How did you get here, child?" Lionel asked. His wings were spread. He stood up and hovered over Cerulean. He continuously flew circles around Cerulean, like a bird.

@Fraust

"Uhm… I walked?" Cerulean shrugged a bit. "I dunno where this place is, though… I've been walking all day, so I think I'm real far from home." He drank some more of the water and sighed, trying to get himself to feel better. He didn't like feeling like this. "Do you live here?" He asked curiously.

Lionel landed in the water. Only ankle-deep water. He sat on the dry land. "Ah yes. This is my home. For many year's, actually." He smiled at Cerulean. "And why aren't you at home? It's dangerous to be out of water for to long.And what is your name?" He asked, politly. "I am Lionel. Lio."

@Fraust

"I like exploring. Dad doesn't care where I go." Cerulean shrugged a bit as he looked up at the man. "I kinda just go wherever I feel like going…" He looked up again at the second question and smiled. "My name is Cerulean! Uhm… I don't really talk to people, so they don't call me anything different."

Lionel chuckled. "Well Cerulean…How about we call you Ceru? Doesn't that sound nice?" Lionel sighed and it was quiet for a minute. "Would you like to come to my home? You look tired. Unless you sleep in the water? But then you won't be saf-" Lionel stoped. He was acting like a father to a child he had just met.

@Fraust

"I don't sleep in water… I'd probably drown." Cerulean yawned a bit as he crawled out of the water. "I don't have gills, see?" He pointed to the sides of his neck. "I can hold my breath real long, but I can't breathe underwater." He tottered along at the man's side, his clothes completely soaked. He still seemed to be pretty weak and exhausted from the journey.

"Yes. How about I take you to my home?" Leo asked. "So you can get some sleep?" He smiled. Leo Reached out his hand, hoping Cerulean.
(Sorry it's short. Low on energy and inspiration rn.)

@Fraust

"Okay…" Cerulean accepted the man's hand and yawned again, rubbing at his eyes as he allowed Lionel to lead him along. "How far away is your house, sir?" He asked tiredly. His tail dragged on the ground as he tottered along, and he seemed to be practically dead on his feet.

Leo chuckled. "Not far from here, kid. A little after the of the town." He looked down at Cerulean, realizing the boy was far too tired to walk all the way. "Hey?" Leo said," How about we fly? It'll be fun!" Leo tried to smile. Leo spread his wings. "Ready?" He said, holding tightly to Cerulean.

@Fraust

"Okay…" Cerulean wrapped his arms around Lionel's neck and glanced over his shoulder and yelped when he and the man left the ground. He'd never been this high up before and it was clearly scaring him. He gripped the fabric of Lionel's shirt tightly and whined shakily.

Deleted user

"Whoa, whoa." He coughed. "You high for you Ceru?" Leo looked down. He lowered closer to the ground but eventually would have to raise back up to the sky due to the town. Once the got close to his house he lowered down completely and decided to walk. They entered the house and he looked at Cerulean. "You are soaked. Would you like to change? I think I have some extra cloths…Might be a bit big on you." And by 'a bit' he meant a lot.

@Fraust

Cerulean huddled up in Lionel's arms, still trembling from fear and the cold. "S-Sure, sir…" He rubbed at his eyes a bit and sighed shakily. At least it felt warmer in the man's house…
He looked around the house curiously from the other's arms and yawned again, exposing his sharp teeth. "Where are they?" He asked.

Deleted user

"Ah. I'll get them for you. Just wait here and Ill be right back.." Leo turned and entered a door. He looked for cloths that would fit Cerulean but there wasn't any. He decided to take one of his old pairs. He walked back into the room where Cerulean was waiting and handed him the cloths. "Here you go. They are big but…They'll do."

@Fraust

"Thanks, sir…" Cerulean pulled off his wet shirt so that he could change. Being so young, he wasn't really embarrassed to change in front of Lionel, even though he didn't know him at all. Soon, he'd changed into the massive set of clothes and had his soaked ones bundled up in his arms, clearly unsure what to do with them.

Deleted user

Lio took the cloths and smiled. "Why dont you explore the house? Just be careful. I dont wat you gettering hurt, now do I?" Lio walked away to put the wet cloths to dry.
(Sorryyyyyyy)

@Fraust

"Okay, sir…" Cerulean started wandering around the house, glancing around curiously as he did so. He touched most things in his reach to investigate them further, although he was still very careful with anything he pulled off the shelves. He'd never really seen anything like this before, so it was definitely interesting to him.

(Im trying my best- Sorry)
Lionel sighed, as he hung the clothes. I took in a random kid, I am bad at parenting, and I have other things to do… He walked back in, seeing Cerulean looking at stuff. "Ah. I see your a curious little boy. You like this stuff?"

@Fraust

"Mhmm!" Cerulean looked up at Lionel with the little figurine still in his hands, smiling brightly. "We don't have any of this cool stuff back at my home. It's a cave, so it's mostly just rock. There's not like… this thing." He pointed to the bed. "Or any of these other things. That's okay, though. You can hear the ocean from there and that helps me sleep good."
