( XD I have appeared)
(ok so. idea.)
(My character has died recently. My ghost is bound to my apartment because reasons. Your character moves in and is adjusting to a new place and new job and stuff. I try to communicate and leave messages like ghosts do. Instead of freaking out, your character strikes up a friendship. It would be interesting, kinda roommate vibes but with a twist. thoughts?)

Veronica Ricci was a quiet girl of 19 when she was murdered.

Born in the city, she'd been comfortable there all through her growing up years. She'd had a good childhood, as far as she knew, and had done well in school and on the sport's teams she was a part of. She'd had two boyfriends, both of whom she had dumped for being dumb boys, and was deciding to go to college, when the Incident happened.
The Incident had changed everything. Ronni suddenly found she no longer felt safe in the city. She no longer had the same spark, the same quick smile. That was on top of the fact that she couldn't talk anymore. At least not very well.
All of Ronni's plans had to go on hold, and her family moved her away from the city.
It took a while, but after three years, when she was 19, she finally moved back, on her own. In that time, she'd determined life wasn't going to get her down, and she wouldn't be bothered by the past. She moved into an apartment, and got a job as an editor, where her typing and writing skills went to good use.

She'd been back in the city all of 5 months when she was killed, in her apartment, by a home intruder.

But Veronica was exceptionally strong. She'd been through a lot in the years after the Incident, and her family had shored her up and made sure she was strong. So when her body died, her soul, her spirit, hung on. It lingered, even after they carted her body off. It stayed, even when they stripped the apartment and renovated. It hung around, even when the new tenant moved in a year later.

And now Ronni had a mission. She was a ghost, with a story to tell, and who better to tell than the person living in her apartment. Now if only she could figure out some way to talk to them.

(Finally! Btw, my reply isn't the best I've done bc writer's block has been slapping me lately and bc I've never moved into an apartment, but an attempt was made. ¯_(ツ)_/¯)

The door softly closed shut as On-ne gazed into the room, carefully glancing at each labeled box that his friend had placed around the house in their designated place, and sighed as he flipped on the light switch.

Smiling to himself, On-ne headed toward the decently furnished living room that was only a few steps forward and sat down on the matte grey modern sofa. Besides a few boxes scattered throughout the room, a glass coffee table with obsidian accents, and a TV attached to the snow-tinted wall were the first noticeable items in the room, aside from the smoky white rug underneath the coffee table. All of the furniture had all come with the apartment, which scared On-ne a bit, Biji said that she was going to get him something "boujee" to stay in for a year or two, but this… On-ne shook his head in awed disbelief. All this for his new job with her? She really didn't need to go this far… holy shi-

He walked to the bathroom that was near the living room, and sure enough, it also took on the minimalistic style, however On-ne decided to stare into the mirror in front of him. His face matched the mirror perfectly, except the bathroom mirror was obviously much larger and was rectangular, however the simple black border around it was the same. He pulled out a white Posca marker from his hoodie pocket and touched up his simply drawn features as if they were makeup and not quite literally his eyes and mouth.

After leaving the bathroom, he sat on a bar stool at the kitchen counter, which the marble countertop felt frigid under his hands. His phone quickly left his pocket and he started to scroll through his phone then placed it at the side of his head, beginning an excited conversation with his friend.

Ronni sat in her usual spot, watching as the new guy moved in. Finally, someone had come to inhabit the apartment. It had been over a year since she’d moved out of her body, and in that time, the owners had renovated, and then just… moved all her stuff back in.
Of course, it wasn’t hers stuff, exactly. It had come with the apartment. But now, she came with the apartment too, so… it was her stuff.
The new guy seemed fairly normal. A bit odd, maybe, but not a psychopath or anything that she could tell. No terrible vibes. His face was off, just a bit, but Ronni couldn’t tell if that was her weird ghostly vision or something else.
He moved around the apartment like a normal person, and wound up sitting at the counter on his phone. Ronni just watched him, sitting across from him at the little island in the kitchen. She didn’t want to make him nervous. Some of the builders had been nervous the few times she’d tried to communicate with them, and if this new guy freaked out, she’d be in trouble.
So she waited, unaware her presence was chilling the marble countertop, making it even colder under the new guy’s touch.

(Sorry it's short)

(Aight, thanks for understanding. As I've probably mentioned before, you're a really good rp partner, and I really appreciate it. :D)

On-ne instinctively lifted his arms from the counter. The overall room wasn't as cold as the countertop, heck, the countertop was suddenly at least 3 times colder. He pushed the stool back and spun around on it, now placing his friend on speakerphone.

"By the way, wanna hear something crazy I learned about the place?"

On-ne answered without batting an eye. "What?"

"Swear you won't freak out or anything if I tell you?"

"By my last two braincells."

"You sure, Anni..? I mean, I know how you get-"

"By my non-existent firstborn." He leaned back on the stool. "Spill it, Bi."

His friend inhaled through clenched teeth, "Alright… so according to rumors and stuff I've heard… the apartment you're in… is haunted."

"Girl, what?" On-ne sat back up and blinked. "That's it?"

"Yeah."

"Are you literally for real?" He laughed and stood up, starting to pace back and forth mindlessly. "I've probably been through worse than just living with a ghost, 'kay? But thanks for the heads up."

"No problem. I thought you were gonna get mad at me for placing for you in a haunted- Oh shoot, Bliss is calling, I promised I'd check up with her and Gomen, um, see you later?"

"Uh sure, today?"

"Mhm, there's this place, Honey Bear Coffee, it's really awesome, but yeah, I'll pick you up at 4 okay?"

"Cool, say hi to the girls for me, Biji."

"I will! Aight, see ya!"

She hung up.

On-ne sat back down, Haunted…? That's cool… He glanced back at his phone. 1:46pm He still had some time before he met up with Biji. He went to the couch and scrolled aimlessly through his Instagram, just planning to kill some time for now.
