I dunno what to do honestly, but currently I'm alone and I need my mind to do something aside from run through every single terrible scenario that could possibly happen tomorrow.
So, I have an adorable character that I haven't used very much, and I would like to find a friend for her. A guy would be preferable, but I'm not too picky. And she's also been incredibly traumatized. As in she will not open up to anyone at all about anything that might have happened to her. She doesn't trust anyone aside from her faithful companion cat.
If templates are prefered let me know and I will throw one up. Otherwise I'm good to go.

@Oakiin

(Me maybe? All my rps are low-key dead, and I got a guy I might be able to be. Did you have an age range in mind?)

@Echo_6 group

(Any age is fine, my character is fairly young. She's mostly seen as a child in her story. But your character can be any age.)
(Also stalking is okay.)

@Oakiin

Got him up finally!

Name: Arlath
Age: 48
Race: Argentan
Physical Description: He's 6' 0", and built like a tank. He's got white hair and pale gold eyes, one of which is blinded by a long scar over it. He's got many scars, but when asked, he's casual about them, they're nothing more than marks of age and experience to him. He's got a short beard and his head's mostly shaved except for one stripe of fairly short hair down the middle. It's fairly clear his family comes from a different country, given his name, but he's never said where's he's from. Even though he's only in his 40's, he looked worn and older than he is.
Weapons: A war hammer made from red energy named Exhunt. He's pretty good with most weapons.
Powers?: None for this lad!
Talents: He's a skilled communicator, a natural leader, and is very creative and imaginative. He's a pretty good poet, though he shares his works with no one. He's got a calmness that is nearly unshakable, and never panics during a crisis. He's an adept warrior, and is skilled with most weapons.
Hobbies: Gardening, reading, writing, occasionally art, learning about history and various cultures, and he's starting to get into D&D as well.
Personality: Arlath is quiet, but friendly. He's been through a lot, and it shows, but he tries to keep his head up, looking forward no matter what. He's tough and a bit overprotective of his people, especially younger ones. Between that and his natural tendency to slip into a leadership position, he can be a little overbearing sometimes, and he can get frustrated when he can't help the people he loves. He's kind and always on the look out for how he can help those around him. Though rarely talking about himself or his past, he's honest and open with those around him, not afraid to say when a subject is making him uncomfortable. He's wary of new people, but not unfriendly, and doesn't like being touched. He can't really explain why, which also frustrates him, since he's equally touch starved and lonely. But also he's not enthusiastic about the idea of making deep connections. Burned twice and all that. But he's very gentle and kind, always willing to reach out to anyone else having a hard time. His past experiences are constantly battling his nature, and it's hard for him to deal with that. He tries his best to stay true to himself.
Likes: He likes people, he loooooves kids, physical activity, animals, reading, etc. He likes being outside, and enjoys gardening. He likes history and mythology, and is forever getting books about various cultures to study them. He's a nerd, is basically what I'm saying. He enjoys tabletop gaming as well.
Dislikes: Being alone. He can handle it, and will, but he's a people person at heart, and gets lonely easily. He dislikes people treating each other unfairly, dislikes arguments of any sort, (has a hard time dealing with joking arguments as well), and HATES liars. And if you treat kids badly, especially if you're their parent, he is coming for you. He knows where you live.
If you try to manipulate him or lie to him, you will at VERY least, be getting an earful. Also cooking. He's terrible at it, and he thinks it's annoying.
Other: He doesn't have any friends or family, though he lives in a decently sized house and seems pretty well off.

Name: Cat
Age: 17
Race: Regular human
Physical Description: Cat is small and kind of fragile looking. She tends to stand in a way that makes her look smaller than she really is though. Her hair is usually tangled and messy. It's a silky black, and goes down to her hips. Her skin is a fine pale, usually pretty dirty though. She has dark gray, almost black eyes.
Her normal clothes consist of a t-shirt that is usually a bit too big for her, and ripped dirty jeans.
Weapons: A tiny little knife that she got from her guardians.
Powers?: None
Talents: Hiding in places that seem way to small for someone to fit into.
Hobbies: Hasn't really had the time to get any.
Personality: Cat is very quiet and reserved. She is hard pressed to trust anyone, and rarely sticks around to get to know people. She doesn't like to talk about anything really, but especially not her past.
Likes: Her cat Plag, flowers, cool breezes, and crocheting.
Dislikes: The dark, needles, people behind her, sudden loud noises, heights, things artificially colored green, red, and yellow, people in white suits, abandoned factories, deep water, and doctors.
Other: She has a small gray and white cat named Plag, and she doesn't have a home anymore.

Sorry this took so long. I've had kind of a busy day.

@Echo_6 group

The air was cool for a summer morning. Cat crossed her arms as she walked down the sidewalk. In the hood of a black, gray and white hoodie she'd grabbed, was Plag. He was snuggled in a tight ball. If it weren't for his few movements, Cat probably would forget he was there.
Several cars went past, making her flinch slightly. She didn't like being this far into the small city, but she needed to find some kind of job.

@Oakiin

(Hey! I'm a lil sick atm, but I promise I'm still into this, I'm trying to chew through through my rps <3 I'll get my part up soon!)

@Oakiin

(Okay! I'm here so sorry for the delay~)

Get out in the sun, his therapist had said. It will do you good.
Well, was it working yet? Arlath didn't really like overly sunny days to begin with, he'd always been more a cloudy weather kinda guy. Then again he didn't like the loud noise of the city either yet here he lived, too bothered by the noise to go leave his house, to scared of being alone to move away.
A fine mess, had been his conclusion. Yet here he stood, waiting for the road to clear so he could make the three minute walk to the park where he'd promised his therapist he would at least try to do something good for himself.
Why did sunlight have to hurt one's eyes so much?

@Echo_6 group

(Yay!)

Cat had to squint when she made it around the corner of the building. The sun was filtering through the buildings, right into her face. She'd been up since before the sun, but hadn't really done anything aside from wandering around.
A sign on the side of a building a few blocks back had said "Now Hiring." And she had stopped to look at it, but when she noticed the number of people going in and out of the building she moved on.
She paused briefly at the entrance to the city park, and before she could move on, Plag jumped from her hood and raced into the park.
"Plag!" She called in a mix of terror and urgency. The small felion paused looking back at her and flicking his tail. "We don't have time for this, come on."
With a flick of his tail, Plag continued into the park. "Plag! Get back here now!" She wasn't yelling but she was being loud enough that she knew Plag could hear her. Feeling annoyed Cat sighed and followed her friend into the city's park.

@Oakiin

(Might continue to be a little slow here, I've got a lot of rp's and I don't want to leave anyone hanging for too long, but I'm tying to sort out a schedule where i can get to everyone as quickly as possible ^^)

At least the park had a sound barrier of trees, making the city's commotion sound at least a little more distant. Arlath slowly made his way deeper into the park, finding a relatively secluded bench that served his needs well enough. He sat and pulled his book out, sighing as the sun glanced off the paper and about blinded him.
Would it kill them to put a bench in the shade? he wondered, looking around in vain for just such an occasion. Realizing he neither had the energy or the care to get up and search further, he settled for just putting up with it. It wasn't the most engaging book he'd ever read anyway, but what else was he supposed to do?

@Echo_6 group

(I wouldn't be too worried about leaving me hanging. I have a very busy life as well, so I totally get that.)

"Plag!" Cat called to the cat as she followed him deeper into the park. He never did this, so why would he start now? It made no sense. Where was he trying to take her, and what did he know that she didn't?
Plag, meanwhile, ran up to the very bench that Arlath was sitting on. Without missing a beat he jumped up on the man's lap and sat down. Purring, and looking up at the man with his green-yellow eyes. Like he knew the man already.
