You were born into a small village in the middle of the forest. Everyone is tight-knit because they had to be. The nearest town is three days walk, and it was too early in time for cars. No one was well off enough to have a horse, either.
And because any who aren't close to the others in the village get offered to the god who owned the land the humans had so foolishly settled on. A soul for protection, and being allowed to work the land for a living. Was that such a bad deal?
Most years, at least one traveler passes through. The god isn't picky when his offering comes, after all, as long as they came before the end of the year.
This time was different, though. The deadline was drawing near, and no one had come. The one with the least amount of ties to the rest of the people living there… was you.
So, there you were, your mother being consoled as you were chosen by the elders, bound and led into the forest to be left for the god. You were afraid to even pray as you were left there, because this god was not one known for his… mercy.

Little did you know the god is actually a chaotic bastard piece of shit who'd much rather spend his days making sex jokes and smoking weed. Will you end up just one of his pretty souls to display in his doll room, or perhaps something more? Family, lover- it could be anything.

So, shall we begin?

Simple character sheet works ^^ I hope my writing is at least decent. I'm working on detail and expanding a bit lol I don't think I have any questions though ^^.

Got it! Your writing is doing really good from what I've seen recently, I really enjoy reading it <33 And if any questions do pop up feel free to ask!

Name: Luca "Bright, Shining" Destan "by the still waters" Ryker "Strength"
Age: 22
Gender/Pronouns: Cismale, He/him/his
Mortal/God: Mortal
Personality: Luca prefers nature to people. He keeps to himself for the most part, other than helping his mother along the way. He's soft spoken, considered mute for the most part. He spends most of his free time out in the forest, either hunting, sleeping, or exploring. He's very adventurous and curious, but really only around the people he trusts. He's really good with animals. He loves curling up in a sun and reading. He's very much a "mother hen" and worries often about the people he deeply cares for. He is fiercely loyal (which got him hurt), but it's a hard habit to break. He's a bit of an outcast because of various reasons.
Appearance: Luca has beautiful dark blue eyes, deeper than the darkest midnight, one however is of a lighter blue and has flecks of green in it. He has messy raven black hair with bangs that fall into his eyes. It's cut fairly short. He has almond skin, and it's littered with freckles and scars. He usually wears simple clothing, nothing too fancy. He's of smaller stature about 5'6, and on the thinner side since he focuses more on feeding his mother.
Brief Backstory: He was raised by his mother, having never met his father. He was much of an outcast because he was a considered a bastard's child. His mother never really told him how he was born. All he knew is that she didn't like him much when he was young. She grew closer to him when he got a little older. He's a spitting image of his mother though, other than the eyes. When he was around 14 some things had happened… and he quickly became withdrawn more than usual. He tends to stay away from people as much as possible.
Likes: Reading, sweet things, exploring nature, writing, tea, studying the stars, running through fields, sleeping in sunny spots, quiet places, animals
Dislikes: being in large crowds, his father, unnecessary violence, talking about the scars on his back and thighs, loud sudden noises.
Fears: Pitch black, the black where there are no stars, where you can't see your hands in front of your face, the suffocating dark. Heights.
Other: He's a very sleepy bean, and has a knack for cooking.

Name: Derlik
Age: 100 years younger than the universe
Gender/Pronouns: Cis Male he/him/his
Mortal/God: God, of the Rank of the Nine 'Original' Gods
God of: Chaos, Sex, Drugs, and Family
Patreon of: Outcasts, Addicts, the Forgotten, and Those Abandoned by Society
Personality: At first impression, it seems that Derlik never stops moving. He's always doing something, whether it be out partying, getting high, or just making a mess of things. Mortals and souls, for the most part, seem to just be toys to him. He loves having 'fun' with them and is very possessive. He does have his quiet moments, though. Times when he just sits with one of his souls in his lap, relaxing and offering comfort to them. Then he's back on his shit by the next day and being a horrible person for the most part.
Appearance: Derlik stands 6 foot tall exactly, with short dirty blonde hair. His eyes are a forest green, often framed with pointed eyeliner and fake lashes. He's on the thinner side himself, arms wiry. He wears casual drag most days; crop tops and skirts with some kind of jacket.
Brief Backstory: Derlik was created as the unexpected god, due to something another god did to him when he was a mortal. He doesn't remember being a mortal at all, though, and since then has just lived his life as a chaotic bastard.
Likes: Weed, Vodka, parties, snuggles
Dislikes: The quiet, being still for too long
Fears: Being killed and not revived
Other: He does get a son in canon and there's so much trauma that ends up coming from that for both of them, but this is before that so he won't really be making an appearance.

Luca's life, for as long as he could remember had been one of seclusion and quiet. He liked that life, he liked being alone, exploring nature, dancing in the rain, sleeping under the sun… His life hadn't been easy, no no. He just didn't like people- that and a few other things but he had shoved those thoughts so far down… never mind. But that world… that life… was quickly coming crashing down on him, suffocating him. Throwing him into the wind. He could hear his mother sobbing, and in that moment he hated the fact that he had been so secluded- he didn't like people, didn't like what they did to him… but now, his seclusion had brought him to this…leaving his mother alone for the rest of her life… and being shoved out into the forest as a sacrifice to a God who had no mercy… He could feel the fear in his gut as he was bound and shoved deep into the forest, where the sacrificial grounds were. The last thing he heard was his mother wailing as she was held back at home. Home- how he desperately wanted to go back. He was shoved into the clearing, and left completely alone. He was scared, begging and praying to any of the Gods to spare him, broken and shaky sobs leaving his lips, his mismatched eyes firmly on the floor of the forest, taking in the fresh air, the grass and dirt beneath his knees, and the sound of animals for what might be the last time in his life. He never thought that his life would end up here. Tears fell down his cheeks as he sobbed into the earth. It was cold that night, and he was practically bare as he sat there, waiting for the moment when the feared god of the land would swoop down and take the sacrifice.

Derlik did eventually arrive, late into the night. He stumbled in more than swooped, though, completely wasted. The moon hung high over them as the god made his way to Luca.
"So," the god said, voice slurring some as he took the man's chin in his hand, moving him so he was looking up, "You're the sacrifice? Aren't you one of those boys from the village though? I figured they'd have grabbed that traveler I spotted on the way here. How long have you been waiting, hm?" Derlik moved to easily pick Luca up, clumsily brushing the tears off of his cheeks. The god held the man in one arm as he started to walk out of the clearing they were in, humming some to himself.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Luca was shivering with cold when the god arrived. He startles a little bit and looks up when the god came closer to him. He backed up hesitantly, freezing when his jaw was grabbed. It was obvious how scared he was. He was shaking slightly, both from the cold and fear now. He had calmed over the time waiting. He had hoped if the god hadn't come by morning he could go back to the village. But that hadn't been the case. He said nothing, seeming surprised that there had been a traveler… would that have meant he could have stayed home? Had they forced him… no… but… they might have. Luca didn't speak when he was asked how long he had been out here. He startles when he was picked up, unable to fight back because of his bound hands. They hurt by now, the ropes had rubbed his skin raw. He was surprised that he hadn't been killed on the spot, but that just meant his death would be coming faster now, and that only caused him to shake more. He stifled his tears and whimpers, finding it harder to swallow around the lump on his throat.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Derlik hummed to himself as he walked, glancing down at Luca.
"Scared?" he asked. He moved to stop walking, taking the man's chin again. "Won't you talk at all? It's no fun if you don't." Derlik pouted some, looking down at Luca's bound hands. He touched them, the rope falling away to reveal his wrists. The god made a small 'tut' sound, shaking his head as he held Luca.
"I don't like it when they come to me broken," he drawled.

@Vuclan-is-tired

Luca was quiet as it was, he normally didn't speak all that much. He looked away when his chin was grabbed again, his breath hitching in his throat. He was starting to realize that maybe… just maybe they had wanted him gone… he really wasn't wanted. He was terrified, trembling as he was held. He wanted to go home, he wanted to hide in his room forever. But the village had gotten rid of him- he was an outcast again. He startles when his binds were removed, gazing at the rope burned skin. Is this truly his fate? He was much too small to take on the God now carrying him through the forests. Broken… was that what he was? He didn't doubt it. Just a broken piece of trash that was easily disposable. Perhaps that was their plan all along… to get rid of him. He wanted to shove the man away, wanted to run for his dear life, but… perhaps it was better if he died as a sacrifice. Perhaps it was better this way. At least his mother would still survive, right? She would be okay. He still didn't speak, keeping his gaze down as he was carried.
