BoTW SPOILERS
So I’m writing a fic (basically the premise is that Zelda’s body being preserved for 100 years has an adverse effect on her, cue sickfic) but I want to make Link Deaf. These are the passages I’m worried about. Also yes, I made Link a trans girl.
“She tried to hum something, to offer some comfort, but it didn’t come out right. It never had, even after she got her hearing aids. So she stopped, and just kept offering physical comfort instead.”
And
“Link sighed. Most people wouldn’t have recognized the sound she made as a sigh, but Zelda knew what sound she was trying to make.”
Also I’ve decided that her blue earrings are magical hearing aids. Most of this is from others’ headcanons lol
