What are traits you find attractive in people? (This TOTALLY isn't because I am utterly incompetent when it comes to writing love interests in my stories. Shhhh.)

But ye, I'll start- when a person is good at conversation. Like, not small talk, but when they can actually bring up interesting things and debate with you over them and defend their point well but also be respectful and listen to you. Or when they can tell you about places they've been and things they've done, and you just want to listen to them talk- that's kinda what I mean

@Exis

This might be weird, but I'm obsessed with people's little habits. They tell you so much, but like, for example, someone bouncing their leg when they're restless, or quietly tapping their fingertips on a desk because they're bored. And then there's their eyes, like staring off into the distance meaning they're somewhere far away in their head, or peeking at someone else from behind their hair or hand or something— Just, the little things.

This could be helpful in conveying interest between two characters, but in terms of actual traits, one of the most attractive things I think there is is smiling with their whole face.

Idk if this helps at all, but I find these things attractive in people lol.

I think people who make you laugh are attractive especially if they’re your friend! ^^ Not only do they understand your type of humor, but a joke’s twice as funny when you’re both hunched over wheezing lol.

And another attractive trait in my opinion would probably be someone who’s mysterious~ 🤔 I know that’s kind of cliche, but even though you don’t know much about them they always manage to give just enough information to keep you hooked haha.

@berlioz

I find myself paying attention to the way someone walks
If they're walking in long gaits, but a straight line, they usually come off as determined and loyal, but boring.
If they walk slow shuffling their feet, they seem sad or confused.
If their walk is boucy (as if the knees and hips seem to lock and pop every step) slow, and all over the place, those are usually my kinda people since they come of as creative or funny or casual.
If they're they walk almost leaning their feet sideways with their head turned, they look thoughtful or curious or anticipating.
If their path is diagonal but they're standing up straight and have perfectly even, perfectly timed steps, those people are either really funny or really mysterious (sometimes both).
Idk how my overanalyisis of walking gait might help you, but maybe depending on your character's type they might notice how their love interest walks.

Being hairless everywhere but your head.
I don't know why, but to me, having no body hair is attractive to me
