Mostly ocean world with floating island mega cities. Planet was placed under quarantine around 50 years ago after a failed universal upheaval and attempted coup of the government left it's local species, the Vedalken, either scattered through the stars, or trapped by an unyielding AI controlled quarantine blockade and re-education system.

A beautiful pearl of pristine blue water dotted with metallic reflections of the floating cities. It would be considered a relaxation paradise by most any other species. The nature of the Vedalken makes this impossible though.
