Every week, Reedsy hosts a contest where they have 5 new writing prompts and ask people to send their submissions in.
I've never been brave enough to do it yet. Plus, it costs five bucks. But, I thought, "Hey, I might be brave enough to do it with a smaller group who can give me direct feedback." So I wanted to post this question.
Would anyone be interested in joining a small writing group where we each write weekly short stories (or scenes!) based on the weekly Reedsy prompts and share them with each other?
I'm thinking about making a discord for something like this, if anyone would be interested. :)

Awesome!! I'd be happy to have both of you. And, of course you don't have to write a story every week. Even if you just wanted to participate every once in awhile, you're more than welcome. It shouldn't be stressful, just something to do for fun, to help us better our writing skills while also interacting more directly with other aspiring writers. :)
We can do it here on Notebook, but I'm more active on Discord. Do you guys have a preference between the two?
We're both on discord as well, so either way, I think? Though I'd probably post the writing on NB, since discord has character limits and whatnot
