I do play, and I've beaten the Moon Lord, so I'm also open to giving tips lol.

I'm waiting on Plantera. The damn bulbs won't spawn. It's been two months.

Have you tried digging out like a spawn area for the bulbs?

Personally, I never had to do anything, in fact, I had too many bulbs.
They do take a while to spawn, it took mine two-three terraria days.
It's just a matter of exploring enough, look for life fruits and you'll eventually run into one.
(That is if you aren't farming life fruits, I didn't farm at first because I wanted to look for them and hopefully stumble across the bulb)
Honestly, exploring around in search for both Life Fruits and Plantera's bulb is great. You can find the temple and mark it off, there are tons of chests and enemies (I do recommend having a staff/minion of some sort, it gets dangerous). You get tons of gold, it's just good to explore the jungle caverns lol
