So uh yeah! I main Pit in Smash, I guess I kind of have since I was like ten(alongside Pikachu lol) and today I decided that I wanted to learn more about the Kid Icarus series because of that! So I looked some stuff up, found out that Uprising was semi-recent and had pretty decent graphics and everything from prior games was mostly explained through dialogue between Pit and Palutena(plus some stuff I dug up on Wikipedia). So I looked it up, found a Let's Play, and started watching!

(and the story of how I started maining Pit is actually pretty funny. I was like nine and getting tired of playing Pikachu in Brawl, and I wanted to play a "girl" character(I was a weird kid), saw Pit and thought "oh she looks pretty, let's try it) and since Pit had like the best attack that I'd seen in the game, it didn't matter that I found out he was a dude lol. Destroyed my brothers like a pro)

Also today in my Lit/Comp class we were discussing literary heroes and our teacher said we were going to do a free write using one of our favorites. We had to pick a hero before we got the prompt, so I ended up with Pit getting randomly placed in the smoldering remains of the Amazon Rainforest. And I didn't realize that we were sharing with other people so it's definitely not my best work, but the teacher seemed to like it lol. Would anyone be interested?
