SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! spoilers are legal so don't come if you haven't seen recent episodes!
I want to scream about Spyfall someone join me.

Deleted user

Yeah so that was intense and also intensely homoerotic because of: spies. Just spies. The spy theme.

Also the Master basically trolled the Doctor but was more feral about it.

My main problem is that she was legit surprised he was alive. Like, Doctor, the man doesn't die. Classic Who has proved that no logic is required for this dude, he'll resurrect no problem. He became a GELATINOUS WORM to escape death.

But I like the Master's little identity crisis. He seems to have come after Missy, which explains the whole "definitely evil, but unable to enjoy it" vibe. And Sacha Dhawan played the character excellently. Only a few complaints about some (probably) unintentional messages sent by his character being POC but I really enjoyed his character overall even despite the kinda of shitty move with the Nazis. Like, really Chibnall, was that ultimately necessary?

But again, Time Lord identity crisis? Good shit.

True, The man’s never gonna die but the doctor’s forever an optimist so she’s gonna be surprised every time.
I don’t think they meant to send negative messages regarding him being a POC, I think he’s just a great actor for the character.

I agree, he is a great actor, but some people are a little bothered and justifiably. Also Sacha is hot so they're not gonna get rid of him yet I think, which is good for fans like me who are gay for charismatic villains with a good, complex character.

But the most recent episode of Doctor Who was…. interesting. In which they threw canon out the window. But the plot was good.

Deleted user

Also it got some nice angst in so that was good. But… Nikola Tesla and the Doctor are canonically, like, bros! They're friends! Buddies! Like,,,, it was good but would have been cooler if they'd used that in the plot instead of making them strangers.

Deleted user

It would have been cool but still he wouldn’t have recognized her at first. It was probably easier just to be strangers. (Which is a stupid reason to do that but still)

Honestly?? I’m pretty excited about the Judoon episode. But as for the future, they’re going to reveal that Gallifrey’s government was somehow flawed while sending some political message. It’s going to be angsty. The master may or may not be there.

I hope the bring up the Divergence. Tbh, I see a few ways of could go. One, Rassilon is actually a huge dick, nobody is really surprised and the Doctor is facepalming. Two, some weird origin story where they murder canon and so on, the usual. Three, some weird twist that honestly just makes the plot more convoluted, especially if you take into account the prose, Lungbarrow.
