I know wayyy to much about space. So, ask away. I also know a lot about the different forms of energy, clean energy, and that kind of stuff.

@Yamatsu

What are the different classifications of stars? I've heard a bunch of names but don't actually know what they mean.

Ok, so there are a lot of different kinds of stars, so this is gonna be a long one. Bear with me here.
So the different classifications of stars tells you stuff like how hot it is, what color it is, and so on. So I'm just gonna list all the types for you.
Type O:
Burns at 80,000 F (45,000 C), and is generally blue. This is the biggest, and also the rarest of the stars, having an abundance of about 0.00001%. It's about as bright as 100,000 of our suns. Not to mention it's radius alone is about 8,643,373 miles long (just about, I'm getting these numbers out of a book). Of all the classifications it has the shortest lifespan, of about 10 million years.
Type B:
Burns at about 55,000 F (30,000 C), and is bluish-white. It has an abundance of 0.1%. Is as bright as about 1000 of our suns. Has a radius of about 4,321,686.5 miles, and has a lifespan of about 100 million years.
Type A:
Burns at about 22,000 F (12,000 C), and is white. It has an abundance of about 0.7%. It is about as bright as 20 of our suns, and has a radius of about 1,469,373 miles. It has a lifespan of about 1000 million years.
Type F:
Burns at about 14,000 F (8,000 C), and is yellowish-white. Has an abundance of about 0.7%. It is as bright as about 4 of our suns, and has a radius of about 1,123,638.5 miles. It has a lifespan of about 3000 million years.
Type G:
Is the classification of our sun. Burns at about 12,000 F (6,500 C), and is yellow. Has an abundance of about 3.5%, and has a radius of about 432,168.5. It has a lifespan of about 10,000 million years.
Type K:
Burns at about 9,000 F (5,000 C), and is orange. Has an abundance of about 8%, and has a radius of about 691,470. It has a lifespan of about 50,000 years.
Type M:
Burns at about 6,500 F (3,500 C), and is red. Is the most abundant type of sun, with an abundance of 80%. Has a radius of about 259,301, and has the longest lifespan, at 200,000 million years.

There are a bunch of subtypes of suns within these types, but these are the main ones. The temperatures and stuff are just approximations, so remember how vast and diverse the universe is. Sorry if this was a little repetitive or something. Hope this helped!
