But I’m still kinda confused.

I want to get the annual plan for $7, right? My dad’s going to ask my mom today when she gets to work if they can use that $7.

But it’s right around the holidays. Is there any way, in the future, I could change the bill date?

Also, do annual payment users get the Premium Supporter patch?

Hey, just some clarification on this:

  1. Just so you're not surprised: the annual plan is paid annually, which ends up cheaper than month to month at $7, but is still paid all at once so it will bill the full $84 once per year instead of $7 each month.

  2. There isn't a way to change billing dates currently, but I plan on adding it soon. In the meantime, most people have just downgraded and re-upgraded on the day they want to change their billing to. Downgrading (which you can do at any time) credits your account with any unused time left that you've already paid for, and upgrading uses that credit first before charging anything to a card.
    .
So, for example, if you bought a month on Jan 1 and wanted your billing date to be on the 15th, you could downgrade on the 15th (getting half of the month back as credit), and then re-upgrade at half price for a month (since you have half a month of credit already) so you'd have another full month from the 15th, and subsequent months would also renew on the 15th.

  3. All Premium subscribers get the Premium Supporter flair whether they pay month to month, every 3 months, or every year. :)

Does that all make sense? There's a lot I'd like to improve in billing options in the future, but I've mostly been focused on feature work instead. I'm happy to help however I can though.

Okay, the last two bits make sense.

But if I were to upgrade, which payment plan do you suggest I take? Because $84 is… a lot. Would the three month plan be better? Perhaps the month to month?
