I tried to save changes to one of my planet pages, but it doesn’t work. All I get is a 500 site error. I’ve done Report A Problem twice with no reply. I’m hoping you will respond and be able to fix it. I’d really hate to cancel my subscription over something stupid like this, but I see no reason to keep paying for it if it doesn’t work properly.
Hey, yeah I'm getting the same problem. For me it's with a couple of my character pages. The weird thing is most of my pages will still save when I need them to.
Sorry about that, guys. I'm looking into it and I see what probably is causing the error and I'm working on a fix now, hopefully to have released this afternoon. Thank you for your patience; I'm sorry about the bad experience here!
Aha, that was a weird one. I think I figured out what's going on:
If you have any pages with "blank" links (for example, starting to link a page and then never selecting one):
These'll prevent pages from saving. In the past, you could actually save these (and they'd save blank). Right now they error when trying to save (even if they're already saved on a page), so if you see an issue while saving, please double check that you don't have any blank links being saved. I'll get a better fix out tonight that just ignores them if they're blank, but in the meantime you should be able to save successfully if you remove these links (click the red X) before saving.
I'll keep digging to make sure there aren't multiple bugs happening here, but that should hopefully resolve it for both of you! If either of you are still having any issues, would you mind PMing me the page you're seeing those issues on so I can look at it specifically?
