I was trying to upload a picture of my character a while ago, but it says that I’m out of room for photos even though I haven’t uploaded a single photo at all before this moment. I tried to upload the picture despite this, but it didn’t show up once I saved. ???

If it helps, I had an issue like this earlier with certain images I tried to upload, where the site would either say I had no space, or just push me through to the next page page with no image upload and no error message. The problem images were all PNGs, but not sure what about them was causing issues because I've uploaded other PNGs with no issues before. Maybe there is something in the encoding of an image or image data?
I just checked the gallery in the data vault and it says I’ve used none of my storage (as expected) and have -8.something remaining. What the heck?
