I was working on an entry for about an hour, went to save it & I was forced to log back in instead and all that work was gone.

Hey Bobby, I'm sorry to hear that. Just to clarify, by an entry you mean one of your worldbuilding notebook pages (characters, locations, etc), correct? (Just in case you're referring to a document, there is a revision log available by clicking About > Revision Log in the top-right of the document editor for recovering previous edits.)

Unfortunately, since notebook pages don't have the autosave feature yet, they're only able to save to their own revision log when the changes actually go through. I have extra code in place that lets you resubmit without losing anything whenever there's any error (internet goes out, site goes down, etc), but unfortunately if you get redirected to a login that code never fires. If you know about when you tried saving relative to this post (10 min before, 30 min before, an hour before, etc) and message me the URL to the page you tried to save, I might be able to look through the logs and recover it manually from server logs.

Obviously, this isn't something that should happen when you're just trying to build worlds! I hope automatic saving will be ready to go on worldbuilding pages soon, but in the meantime I'll see what I can do about adding in some code to save submissions even when you get logged out for whatever reason.
