So I was working on a character and I just realized that in the social category there are fields for both “Job” and “Occupation.” I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference is between the two, or if it’s just a mistake that hasn’t been addressed. Thank you to anyone who can help.
Ha, I can see how this could be confusing. Honestly, we originally had Occupation fields and then I added Job pages, so I also added a Job field (so people could link to specific jobs if they'd like). Personally, I've been using Occupation as more of a general career direction and Job as the character's current job (so a character for me would have "Software engineer" as Occupation, but "@Notebook.ai engineer" for Job).
You can also hide either (or both!) from the character template editor if you'd like. I'll think on how to make the two a bit less confusing, of course. :)
