Hi! I'm confused about something. On some universes made by others, it says "collaborating". I'm of course assuming that means that the world is shared with another user, and I was wondering how to share that? Do you have to be a premium member? Sorry if it's really obvious and I'm just missing it, it's just confusing me

You don’t have to be a premium member! You can add other members as collaborators via their email address on the “Contributors” tab of your universe.

Here are some instructions from a post a long time ago:

On the universe page, go into editing mode. An option in the sections bar on the right hand side of the screen will be a section called "Contributors" (it's at the bottom underneath the "Settings" section").
There will be a field to enter an email address into, type the email address of whoever you want to contribute to a universe and use the "Save Changes" button (also on the right hand side of the screen). They will get an email with a link, all they have to do is click on it and they can start contributing.

In case I suck at describing things too much, here's a screenshot.

And here’s what people you add as collaborators can and can’t do:

Thanks, @Riorlyne :)

As an addition, you don't have to be a premium member – but if you are, it allows you to share that membership with all the collaborators in your universe. They'll be able to add all the premium pages to that universe as if they had premium as well. Nice little-known tip!
