Hey guys! Do any of you know any good writing platforms? Where do you post your works online? I've never shared my writing to anyone before but I want to take a step in putting them out there to receive feedback and for others to read. Thanks!

If you're writing fanfiction, Archive of our Own, fanfiction.net, and Wattpad are all options. It's harder to find places to post original work, but you can post short stories or bits of your novel here, or links to them. I personally made a blog on Wordpress to post my writing, so you could always do something like that. If you want feedback from other writers, you could always try the forums on nanowrimo's site, or on nanowrimo young writer's program, which is exclusively writers ages 18 and under. You could try finding an app? I think there are a few out there, though the last time I looked was about a year ago.

I'm sorry I don't know more. I hope this was helpful, and I wish you luck :)

Hello! There is a super cool website called Inkitt, and it's a place where you can publish (ish) your books, read other peoples books, and leave and get reviews! It's super cool, and you should totally check it out.

Thank you so much and sorry for the late reply! I'm working on a book; I made a Wattpad account but people don't really comment or give feedback, so I guess I'll move on to somewhere else for now. I was thinking about making a blog too, except people around me don't really check those and I'm not sure how to get the news out there and make others actually interested and visit it. I'm trying out Camp NaNo this year and I can't wait :P

Thanks! I was torn between joining Wattpad and Inkitt and chose the former because it seemed more well-known, but I'll definitely check it out again and do more research :)

Tapas is also an original-content friendly site that also has an app form. You can really only upload your stuff by using the website, but you can still look around and read other people's writing and comics om the app. Tapas is also set up to encourage writers and artists to support each other.

Thanks, I've been juggling all the ones offered and I think that's where I'll move. I probably should've read more reviews on Wattpad about plagiarism because one of my followers literally took my work and made it into their own with a few changes - I took the whole thing down and I'm feeling so betrayed. I mean it's not like it's never going to happen elsewhere but I felt so upset I didn't even want to log on afterwards.
