Basically what the title says. I'm looking for someone interested in being a beta reader for my manuscript. Currently, I am in the querying trenches, trying to find a literary agent to represent my novel (YA Fantasy). I have received many encouraging rejection letters, praising my characters and my plot but, in the end, that's just what they are. Rejection letters.
I want to know where I'm going wrong. So, I'm wondering if anyone is interested in reading my novel (or a part of it). I am, unfortunately, poor so I cannot pay you. However, as lame as this sounds and I fully admit that it does, I would thank you FIRST in the acknowledgments of my book when it gets published. (Que for everybody to groan because of what a horrible trade that is for money. I really am sorry.)
So, if you are interested, let me know. I need you to be savage. Just flat out roast me and my writing. Let me know where I'm messing up and be an outward perspective for me here. Thanks for reading this mega multi-paragraph request and let me know if you have endless amounts of time and want to read some crappy writing!!! :) :)
(I'm also trusting you won't steal my manuscript, but it's pretty bad so you probably wouldn't want it anyway.)
