Mercy stole a glance at the other students around them. Mercy still didn’t believe him about the school or the vampires or the werewolves, but she didn’t have much of a choice. She could try to run, but she would likely get hunted down fairly quickly. After all, she had no idea where she was.

“Fine.” With a sigh, she stood up. “Let’s go see the dorm.”

Avdey stands, “I’ll be right back. And trust me, I’ll know if you move.” He moves over to a few other people, talking with them for a moment, gesturing the Mercy and having a conversation with a few of them.

He was saying something along the lines that he was going to leave and take Mercy to her dorm, and asking if someone would make sure the werewolf wouldn’t escape the dens. As Avdey was a vampire, his dorm was elsewhere in the school and didn’t particularly want to stay up all night making sure she didn’t run.

Also, less sleep meant Avdey was more likely to lose his temper, and losing his temper meant he might attack and then drain someone. Probably Mercy, as he was giving her a tour the next day.

(( ALRIGHT BACKK! So sorry for the wait, I’ve been so freaking busy T^T ))

“Not weird? Says the guy who has fangs.”

Mercy crossed her arms, clearly not in the mood to go anywhere with a man she’d never met. Did he really expect her to believe him just like that?

“Dorm? Nah, I’m good.” She snorted, turning away from him. “I think I’d rather sleep in the courtyard.”

(Lol, it’s fine)

Avdey rolls his eyes, “I can’t help having fangs, they’re a part of me. And if I have to carry you there, I will. If you’re caught outside the dorms past curfew, you’re screwed.” He walks back towards her, “Come on. Don’t be stubborn. You’re not going to die.”

He grins slightly, crossing his arms, “Unless you’re scared?” He wondered if baiting her would work. Probably not, but there was that slight chance. . .

@Emmrii

Mercy glared up at him, and eventually, she let out an exasperated sigh stood up. She didn’t want to go anywhere with this guy, but she had nowhere else to go, and she wasn’t going to take his warning about staying out past curfew lightly.

“Scared? Are you kidding me?” She smirked up at him. “Were you really being serious about carrying me there?”

Avdey nods, “Oh yes. See, unlike you, I’ve been trained to control my supernatural abilities. I’m sure I could do it easily.” He smirks slightly and starts walking away. He kept his face in the mask of ‘I don’t care, I’m slightly better than you’ even if that wasn;t how he felt in the inside.

Inside, he disliked the thought f dragging someone anywhere against their will, but he’d do it. Only if it meant Mercy wasn;t caught up by the night guards.

@Emmrii

“Oh, your supernatural abilities, huh?” Despite her dreary circumstances, she couldn’t help but snort. “Sure, sure. You probably impress all the women with your so called super human strength.”

Mercy began to follow him, looking around as she did so. Mercy was still far from believing him about the whole supernatural thing, but the school was huge. She still had plenty of questions about it, but she figured it might be best to save those for later.

Avdey laughs softly, “Not really, I’m no stronger than your average vampire. Though I am a lot faster. I could probably loop around London five times in one and a half seconds.” He shrugs, “I don’t care if it impresses the girls or not. That’s not my goal in life.”

He makes long strides across the courtyard, thinking for a moment, “You’ll be dorming with another werewolf, Her name’s Clara and she was raised in the human world like you. But she’s been coming to the Academy for two years now.” He slides his hands into his pockets, looking at her, “In the morning, at around eleven, I’ve asked he to wake you and bring you to the Den. From there, I’ll give you a tour of the Academy. The Den is the hub of activity for the Academy. Everything happens there. Meals, socializing, announcements and the like.”

He looks back at her, “You also have a monthly stipend paid to you from the academy. It’s not a lot, so be careful how you spend it.”
