Xander heard River's voice. She hadn't died. If this was hell, why was she here?
"River? Is that you?" Xander called, a lump forming in his throat. He wondered if she had read his note, and if she knew that killing Lixi was not his intent, but his impulse.

River sighed and felt her eyes well up with tears. “Great, now I’m hearing voices of my dead best friends.” she said sitting down on the floor. She wiped away a stray tear and put her head on her lap

"I don't feel dead. At least no more than I was before," Xander said, approaching River, "You can… you can see me, right?"

"Xander? I can hear you but I cant see you?!" She said standing up suddenly.
(I had the idea that maybe they had e on like a small device that hides them? Like turns them Invisible)

"Don't be alarmed… I'm going to try to touch you."
Xander reached out a hand to touch River's shoulder. He felt that he had a firm grasp on it, but was unsure if she could feel this.

River felt pressure on her shoulder. "Ok I feel like you pressing my shoulder lightly?" She questioned

"Yeah, yeah," Xander replied, feeling rather frantic, "Is it like… I'm actually here? Or am I a ghost or something?"

River stuck out a hand and felt around in mid air "I can feel you, but why cant I see you? And how the heck are you still alive?!" She wondered

"I dunno, man… I don't even think it's best put as still alive. I died for sure. You don't live through injuries like that," Xander said, "Enzo says we're in hell, but I'm not so inclined to believe that, especially not since Lixi is here."

"I feel like I'm in hell." She grumbled, walking around
