Abby masked her emotions well. "So, y'all didn't have breakfast yet?"

"i don't think they did." olivia came in the kitchen stretchng. " but since it's the weekend, imma make my famous pancakes and things! just tell me what you want on them." she said as she got out a big bowl and made some new batter

Vivian dragged her feet out of the room and into kitchen, still wearing her pajamas. "Y'all are being loud," she groaned.

Abby quickly went into her room to check on Veda. She was still sleeping. Abby quickly changed into jeans and a fhockey t-shirt. She pulled her hair into a ponytail. As she looked at herself in the mirror, she whispered, "Breath." She calmed down and walked back into the kitchen. "Kendra, can I talk to you? Alone, please?"

Cal walked into the kitchen, his chestnut colored hair falling across his gaze as he yawned, stretching a bit as he glanced around the room tiredly. He had put his shirt on inside out, but was still too tired to change it as he skimmed past the table, wrinkling his nose faintly as he looked at the food. Cal had never really eaten in the morning, though he always forced himself to down something with his medicine.

Kendra stood up upon hearing her name then realized who said it and turned toward the kitchen. "Let me put my mug in the kitchen". she sat her mug on the counter, rolled her eyes and thought oh now she wants to talk to me. But she went back to the living room anyway. "Lead the way"

Abby lead her to a private spot (idk). She took a deep breath. "I'm sorry about last night, ok? I didn't mean to make you feel like that."

"a child? like a child. im not a child Abby"

"I know," Abby sighed. "And I'm sorry."

"Whatever" she rolled her eyes

She glanced at Cal. "Hey."

olivia set the table and looked at Cal "Cal, i have seen your marks for this term and i have made a decision."

"My grades?" Cal asked drowsily as he plopped down onto the couch, wrapping a stray blanket around himself in an attempt to fall asleep again. His grades were fairly good since he spent most of his time at home, though History was always something he had been struggling with.

"I'm taking you to the amusment park of your choice!" she exclaimed

She raised a brow at Olivia. "…You have the money for that?"

"I got promoted to manager!" she exclaimed "my salary is now double of what i earned before."

"Wow. I'm jealous. I can't hold a job for more than a week… Do you know how many times I've gotten fired this month?"

Kendra walked away. Sorry wasnt going to cut it this time. Kendra walked into the kitchen "Whats this about an amusment park?" She said jumping in the conversation

"An amusement park?" Cal asked, a bit of excitement in his tone as he rubbed his eyes tiredly, a small grin spreading across his face. "That's amazing, Olivia." He added, glad that she had been promoted.

"thanks guys!" she looked at Kendra "i got promoted at work and have now earned enough to take Cal to the amusement park of his choice, want to join? i can take you, Cal, Vivian, and myself on a day trip to the amusement park! the others have no idea about any of this." she said with a sneaky grin at the end

"Wait how did I get involved in this?" She was very fine with spending a day at an amusement park, though wasn't sure why she was picked.

"Um heck yes i do" she said excitedly. she was already planning a cute outfiit

"Well you are in the kitchen with the 3 of us so i guess taking you along is a fair desicion!" she said, hapily cutting her pancakes

She shrugged, "Fine by me…"
A thought hit her. "Wait, are we doing it today?"

Kendra refilled her cup with coffee and sat at the table with the others

"Wha about tomorrow? we can be more prepared that way!" she said bringing her plate to the sink and grabbing her cffee mug

Abby intervened, "No, you can't just up and do that, Olivia."

"Why can't she? whats the problem?" she said shooting Abby a look

"You have school," Abby answered. "You all have school, work, or other responsibilities that take priority."
