(ok so the good news is, I don't need Taz's choices anymore bc I have everyone paired up, the bad news is two characters who I have paired aren't on each other's lists bc the pairings literally wouldn't work any other way. I'm thinking about these two getting paired with outside characters so I may make them their own soulmates myself. But other than that, I think we're ready!)

(How this is going to work, I now have all the correct soulmates figured out, but remember, the Meraki Program is a test. There's never been a program like this, so there's bound to be a few glitches. The pairings I assign you may or may not be the correct one, you have no way of knowing. The rp will reach it's conclusion (or not if we want to keep going) once everyone is with their correct soulmate)

Jaxxon took a deep breath, eyes looking out of his car's windshield as he reached his destination. A week ago, he had been at Meraki headquarters getting his blood drawn and taking the longest personality test ever (or it at least felt that way.) Now, he was at Meraki Apartments. The company built it for matched soulmates to stay in while they get accustomed to their new relationship, and so they can figure out how they're going to live moving forward. It was an empty building, but fully furnished for their convenience. And as he walked through the front doors to the lavish lobby, he realized he was the first contestant there. Not the first person, the lead researcher had been coordinating with all of the contestants herself, unwilling to allow anyone to screw up her project.

"Mr. Kim." She greeted with a smile, reaching out to shake his hand.

Jaxxon gave an awkward smile back, shaking her hand politely. "Dr. Brimstone. Am I the first one here?"

"So far." Dr. Leyla Brimstone responded, her face not giving anything away.

Wren was in his own car, the Meraki Apartments just a little bit away. Gods above, I hope this is worth it, as well. I'd better not have waisted that entire day at Meraki Headquarters… After a couple more minutes of driving, the radio blaring Walk the Moon's "Shut up and dance with me", he reaches the apartments and parks his car, walking in to find two others already there.

"So… is anyone else here, Dr. Brimstone, or is it just me and him?" he asks, gesturing to Jaxxon.

Avrey checked his watch again, nervously tapping his fingers against the steering wheel of his car. Just a few more minutes. You don't want to be early and seem desperate. Just a few more. He watched as other cars parked around him, and as two guys walked into the apartments. Shit. They probably saw you! Now you have to go in! He turned off his car, closing his eyes to let his song finish, before opening the door. Do I need my stuff? Did those guys bring their stuff in? His thoughts race as he nears the doors, slowly pushing them open and walking inside, arms folded righty against his chest. His worn, white converse squeaked against the floors as the went to join the rest of the group. Shit! You forgot to lock your car. Idiot. Well, you can't go back now.

"Um… is this the Meraki apartments?" He asked timidly, knowing it was a stupid question because he had just seen Dr. Brimstone a week before.

Wren looks behind him as Avrey walked in, then grins despite himself, seeing Avrey enter the room. He's cute…

"Yeah, these are. What else would they be, the Luxury Inn?" he says, half smiling and stepping forward.

He also takes a moment to look around the place as he does so, admiring the décor and colors.

He holds out his hand to Avrey. "My name is Wren. What's yours?"

(This is out of the blue, but what are the rules around cursing/swearing?)

Arlo, frankly, was ready to meet his soulmate. After the stress that came with driving to the Meraki apartments during rush hour, meeting a soulmate sounded quite calming. Parking his car in the parking lot next to the other ones already there, he wasted no time in getting out. It took him only a moment to grab his backpack, deciding to leave the rest of his bags safely in his car. From his guesses, there would be time to bring his bags to where he was staying later.

Checking his reflection in the window of his car, he tucked a stray hair into his bun, thankful that he had decided to put his hair up. It did make him look slightly less professional than his usual hairstyle, but it went with his outfit. And it showed his tattoo, or at least one of them. The base of his tattoo sleeve was just visible under the cuff of his sweatshirt, and his jeans hid his other one.

Satisfied with his appearance, he locked his car doors, shoved his keys into his pocket and walked towards the door, unbothered with the fact that he was a few minutes late to meet everyone.

Avrey watched Wren approach him, heart pouncing against his chest as he collected himself. He smiles a bit, nervously, smoothing the fabric of his acid washed jeans.

“N-nice to meet you. I-I-I’m Avrey. He says quickly, shaking Wren’s hand, face turning red at the sound of his stutter.

He turned his gaze from his green sweater to Wren’s face. oh… oh god he’s cute. he smiles. Is this my soulmate??

He turned around, noticing Arlo, and sighs. Relieved that more people were trickling in.

Apollo was jiggling his leg up and down as he nervously watched his surroundings pass by him, his hands gripped the wheel tightly, so much that you could see the bones sticking out of his knuckles. "Holy mother of Athena…" he whispered to himself as he drove closer to the Meraki apartments, he parked, and opened the trunk pulling out his bag this could either be terrifying or extremely worth it he thought to himself.

Seeing as four cars were already there. He paused, his hand on the trunk, ready to close it, then inhaled deeply before slamming it shut. "You can do this Apollo" he said, trying to hype himself up. He Slung his bag over his shoulder, then walked inside, pausing in the doorway briefly as he saw the backs of the others.

He walked in, standing beside a guy with a bun, he gave him a once over with his eyes and noticed the slight hint of a tattoo hiding under the cuff of his sleeve. He smiled to himself then looked at the others in the room. A blonde who seemed more nervous than he was, and a guy with dark hair who seemed to be in the middle of flirting with said blonde.

Great, this is great. He thought to himself, then lifted his arm to his mouth, the sleeve of his blue hoodie stifling the yawn coming from his mouth, he had been up all night stressing about how this day would go, and now that he was here, all he wanted was to sleep.

Taz was frankly, underwhelmed. He'd spent nearly a whole day the week before letting the personnel quiz him, letting them draw blood and do… Whatever is was they were doing. As he pulled up to the lot, he stopped the car, staring at himself briefly in the rear view mirror. This had all better be worth it, but at the very least the Meraki Apartments would house them on site. He'd brought a few necessary objects and a few sentimental ones, but most of it could fit inside a backpack.

Taz breathed out in annoyance, running his hand through his messy brown hair, before getting out of the car, slinging the bag over his shoulder. He eyed the building, then snorted and walked inside, noting the small group seeming to form in the room. He eyed the people warily, could one of them really be his "soul-mate", this whole thing could still be an elaborate scam. Taz brushed past the group, eyes flitting from each person until he approached Dr. Brimstone.

"Oi, you're in charge right? Can we get this over with?"

Taz's voice was hostile, and he had a deep voice with a southern rumble to it. His eyes flashed with emotion when he spoke, he acted like a wild animal, tensed and ready to leave. He crossed his arms, head tilted to the side.

Wren turns from Arlo to Taz, startled and annoyed.

"Who are you?" he asks, his annoyance evident.

He'd never been very good with hiding his emotions, but he's never really cared all too much to do something about it. He's never liked pretending. And today is no different: he has no interest in pretending to like Taz.

Avrey flinches at the sound of Taz's voice, shrinking away to let him in. Oh god. one of these guys. He nervously rubs his arm, watching Taz as he confidently takes control of the room, then nearly jumps as Wren confronts him. He watches Wren and Taz warily, moving farther back into the corner, as he slips on his airpods, turning on Pears by Weston Estate. His eyes close as he slowly sinks into his own world, swaying softly to the rhythm.

Taz very slowly turns away from Dr. Brimstone, looking Wren up and down, his lips tug downwards in annoyance. He pauses for a moment longer, letting the tension build, before he squares his shoulders, snorting dismissively.

"I'm sorry, did ya' just ask me somethin'? You'll have to speak up."

His eyes flicker to the far more anxious person in the room, and his lips finally curl up into a smirk.

"Besides, I think you're scaring our more 'delicate companions." Taz finally looks back at Wren, watching him carefully. He was definitely interested now, but he'd have to see how this would play out.

Wren frowns himself, his shorter form tensing in preparation for a fight.

"I asked you who you are. I know you heard me, otherwise you wouldn't have responded." he says, his tone exactly the same as before, just bladed now. He glances at Avrey, the looks back at Taz.

"Don't even think about it, musclehead." he snarls, shifting so that he's in Taz's line of sight with Avrey.
