"Oh, trust me, we don't mind, righht?" Aiden looked at Kalex hoping he didn't offend him by assuming, truth be told Aiden was alright with talking about anything as long as things didn't get too personal, still, Ski had shared something that was clearly a thing she'd wanted to keep hidden, so he supposed it would be fair to open up more than usual, plus, he had drink enough to be twice as honest as usual, the man was bad at lying but had a talent hiding things until there was some peer preassure involved.

"You can ask me about anything, really, I may not have the answers to quite literally any subject but…" he hiccups and keeps talking, "Sorry for that– I'm an open book."

Ski just nodded, looking between them and chewing on her meat. She swallowed and licked her chops. "I believe I interrupted you though, sorry about that. Although," her icy eyes drifted over to Aiden. "I am curious. If you didn't get your sorcery from training at a school, how did you learn? From that book?"

"Oh, oh my, this would be a hard thing to explain…" Aiden doesn't remember ever hacing to answer anything like that, perhaps he had the luck that the people he used to be around were more used to the topic of magic, "So… according to experts… errr, sages, actually, some of us are born with magic, and while magic can be learn by anyone, some of us can draw power from it since birth, so technically, I was born a sorcerer but…" he traild off and looks slighlty ashamed, looking away for a moment… "Some of us are…" he sighs and laughs nerveously.

"Some of us are late bloomers, ideally, magic shows since birth but in my case it took me a few years to use magic, of course, it was worhtless with no proper training and there's a reason why this books excist, which is were I learn things that I couldn't in schools and… I'm loosing the point, aren't I? I feel like I'm loosing the point…"

She studied him. "No. I… I think I understand."
Satisfied and no longer curious, she glanced back at the cubs, who seemed to be murmuring about something. Re seemed to be hogging the milk, keeping up to her face, and sipping it a lot. Ski finished off her share of meat and bent down over the small she-cub.
"Re, remember to share. Your siblings are thirsty, see?" she gestured over to Ti and Do, the former trying to reach for the bowl. She slowly pulled the milk bowl from Re's fingers, and Re let her, though Ski knew it only because she was doing it. "It's not just you who's hungry and thirsty, yes?"
She reluctantly nodded, looking down at the strip of beef in her other hand.
"Can you say you're sorry to Do and Ti?"
Re looked up at her siblings, hesitating for a couple of moments, then murmuring, "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Ski prompted.
"For keeping the milk to myself."
Ski turned to the others. "And what do you say?"
Ti straightened like she was saying a very important line in a play. Do chewed his lip for a moment, lowering his chicken. "We forgive you, Re," they said in imperfect unison.
Ski chuckled, looking between them with a rare warm smile on her face. "Good, good. That's really good." She passed the milk bowl to Ti and Do, rubbed Re's shoulder, and stood back up.
Tightening her cloak around her shoulders, she looked down at the ground suddenly a little uncomfortable. She switched to Crecian. "… um, they're getting better at sharing. Better than they were a month ago. Anyway…" she chuckled nervously. Then she nodded vaguely in Kalex's direction. "I believe it really comes down to you. It seems like you were the one one who wanted to talk to us." She gestured between herself and Aiden. "Do you need to finish your conversation with him or…?"

@imJUSTasillylittleguy group

"Well, I'm pretty sure we finished unless he has anything else he would like to say to me, i would like to finally be able to talk with you." He smiled at Ski, his hands simply placed inside of his pockets sparing a glance at the adorable pups, even letting out a chuckle or two at how they were adorable and just so precious sijfkfjf

"No, no, you talk, I'm finished talking, you do you!" Aiden said while vaguely gesturing, waving his hands through the air as he talked, he smiled, a little nervous, hoping his presence wasn't of any bother for the people around him.

Ski did not really expect to get this far. For a moment, she had no idea what to say. Then something occurred to her. Taking a piece of beef from the bowl, she asked. "Kalex, tell me. How do you know Yeshe? I'm curious."
The cubs looked satisfied. Do was curling up beside Ski's hip, and Re and Ti were combing each other's hair with their tiny fingers.
