With the guy to his feet, Al stood himself, morphing the bladed appendage back into a hand.

"They won't wake up for a while. I suggest…I suggest we collect ourselves before taking our leave," Meun said as he finally managed to catch his breath
"I got a decent motel room we can head to across town." Al said. "Since these guys can't really go to the cops with this, we can just hide out there."
Baz nodded in agreement, glancing around the rest of the bar to see a few more figures in different areas of the room as well. The lights seemed to still be out, so all he had was the faint glow from the man standing next to them, which didn't provide enough of light in order to make out any features. Were they soldiers that weren't affected by the magic?
"That would be appreciated," Meun said as he let his staff dissolve into whorls of starry gold smoke. He stood upright, the glow finally fading from his body
"Here you go, you'd better take these." Al said, handing his beige dirby cap and dark long, two-tailed trenchcoat to the guy with the abnormal hair.
"Thanks…" Baz started, though he paused once he realized that he didn't know what the other's name was. He looked towards them intently, though it dawned upon him that they probably couldn't see his face in the dark lighting. "Sorry, I didn't catch any of your names." He added.
"It's alright, I can disguise myself long enough to get to the hotel," Meun said, politely declining as he ran a hand through his hair. As he did so the color began to shift and fade until it was more of a whitish color
"Al." He said, taking out a pair of glasses with lightweight, angular silvery wire frames, and thick, heavy, sleek, tinted lenses. He put the cap and coat back on.
"Meun. And before you ask, yes, I know it's a strange name," he said quickly. He was a little embarrassed of his name, among most of his features
(I’ll bring her out now)
Aspen saw people talking and walked closer, fixing her hood
Al turned to face the one approaching.
"What's up?"
"Meun. And before you ask, yes, I know it's a strange name," he said quickly. He was a little embarrassed of his name, among most of his features
"It's actually quite nice," He answered, a rare, faint smile tilting the corners of his lips up as he looked towards Meun. "Oh, and I'm Baz," he added, realizing that he had nearly forgotten to mention his own name, even if it was the shorter version of his real one. Though, Baz practically loathed his original name anyway.
"Well, um. Thank you," Meun said sheepishly, a faint tint rising to his cheeks as he ran a hand through his hair. "You have a rather wonderful name as well."
Al turned to face the one approaching.
"What's up?"
“The roof.” She shrigged
"Should we get going?" Al suggested, adjusting his glasses.
"Well, um. Thank you," Meun said sheepishly, a faint tint rising to his cheeks as he ran a hand through his hair. "You have a rather wonderful name as well."
"It's actually Bastian, though I hate that name…so I've gone by Baz for a while," He answered, shrugging faintly as he played with the hem of his jacket.
"Well, Bastian sounds nice as well," Meun responded with a small smile. He reached up to wipe at his eyes behind his glasses, realizing there were a few tear stains from his previous rampage
Cressida stands up and takes a few deep breaths. Her glamour returns, but the blood from her injuries is still gold.
"You two okay?" Al asks Meun, and the girl with the golden blood.
Baz nodded with a small, rare smile as he rubbed the back of his neck, turning towards the different voice that had spoken up. "Yeah, we should probably get going soon," he agreed, slipping his hands in the pockets of his jacket and playing with the cigarette pack inside, out of a small habit.
Meun nodded. He was getting more tired just from maintaining his disguise, and at the moment all he wanted to do was curl up and sleep somewhere. Hell, it wasn't like he hadn't been curled up on the floors of various abandoned buildings in his attempts to escape the war people kept trying to drag him into
(Aspen is just gonna tag along)
((Idk what to do))
"You two okay?" Al asks Meun, and the girl with the golden blood.
Cressida glances around. "As okay as I'll ever be." Her words are slightly slurred.
(isn't he lowkey still attached to Meun though? or am I thinking of someone else)
((Idk what to do))
(Talk to aspen!! She’s lonely!)
"Alright, let's go everyone." Al says, offering his hand to the girl, and an extra napkin to Meun.
(isn't he lowkey still attached to Meun though? or am I thinking of someone else)
That’s me)
Cressida takes his hand. "What did you say your name was?"
