(Idk….)
(I am confusion)
(….Shall we continue?)
(I guess so?)
(I suppose it's just you and me now, Sly)
(Okie)
A groaning nose came from the oven. "Hells bells what was that?"
"Hells bells?" Nathaniel asked, confused as he turned towards the oven. "Um, should… should we open it?"
"Yeah probably." Ellis grabbed the handle and peered in, immediately shutting it again. "Nate?"
(Stalks)
"…Y-Yeah?" Not good, very not good… He wasn't sure whether he really wanted to hear what Ellis had seen.
"There is a mummy in our oven."
"A what?! You're joking, right? Please say you're joking…" Nathaniel partially wanted to see whether it was true, but mostly didn't want to be anywhere near anything that possibly contained a dead person.
"I am not. Please don't freak out." Ellis opened the over again. "Hey in there! You're dead right?"
"Don't ask the mummy!" Nathaniel's heart was pounding. "Of course he's dead! W-What person in their right mind would fully wrap themselves in bandages and curl up in the oven of some abandoned house?"
The mummy groaned in response.
"Aw see? He's perfectly fine!" Ellis said. "Do you want out?"
"Oh my god!" Nathaniel fell out of his chair, starting to hyperventilate. What the hell?! It's impossible!
The mummy groaned again. Ellis started backing away from the oven as it creaked. "There you go."
"HOW ARE YOU SO OKAY WITH THIS?!" Nathaniel pressed himself against the wall, his eyes wide with fear.
"I don't know. Just thought I'd give the guy a chance."
The mummy slid out of the oven and slowly stood. It groaned more and started towards Ellis.
Ellis started backing up. "Okay so not my best idea I'll admit…"
"I don't remember the last time you had a good idea!" Nathaniel looked around for somewhere to escape out of.
Ellis grabbed his arm.
The mummy leaned in nose to nose with them.
Ellis blinked. "You're getting in my personal space buddy."
"He's not just going to listen to you, Ellis! Run!"
The mummy groaned louder.
Ellis nodded. "Okay let's go!"
"Go where?! I haven't planned this far ahead!"
Ellis started pushing him out the kitchen door. "Upstairs move!"
Nathaniel nodded silently and bolted up the stairs, curling up in the corner of an empty room.
Ellis followed and slammed the door. "Okay. That was closer than I would have preferred."
Calm down… calm down, calm down, I am very calm… stop hyperventilating! "You… y-you think?!"
