Mariko stepped inside the store and smiled gratefully at the girl who'd ushered them in. "Hi, I'm Mariko, it's g…gre…awesome that you knew a storm was coming."

@garbage-owo

"Thanks. I'm Jade. I used to live in Seattle, and when I saw the smallest of raindrops, I had to expect a full-fledged storm." Jade sneezed and rubbed her nose. "That's why I moved here a month ago. All that rain, all that gray- it kinda sucked the life out of everything. I needed more sunshine, y'know?"
She thrust some towels at the dripping girl. "You guys want anything? Fries? Coffee? Don't worry about cash. It's not like the manager actually ever shows up."

@glitchy-plant

Ella quietly opened the door to the small McDonald's, standing quietly beside the girl asking for oil. 'Why would she ask for oil at a McDonald's?' they thought, fidgeting with their necklace

While everyone was just talking, Petree was looking at the tables in the corner and noticed some sort of carving on the walls.
"Come look at this!" she told everyone. Only the girl standing beside Mariko noticed Petree, then raised her eyebrows, and turned back around. Petree huffed.
"I got the oil you were asking for!" Jade called. "And coffee. You guys look hungry."
Petree looked at the brown drink Jade had just given her.
"Uh- I'm not trying to be rude, I appreciate you giving me coffee… but I'm, like, thirteen years old. Is it against the law for me to drink coffee?"
After saying this, Petree immediately turned red. Why did she care about laws? She was literally an outlaw!
Jade stared at her with an unreadable expression on her face. It looked like a mix between pity, skeptism, and disgustedness, and then said,
"I don't think it is, but would you prefer something else?"
Living on the streets, Petree had no response. She'd never eaten fries, never had any fast food at all. She stole valuables, not food. However… there was this one drink that she'd had before… that looked suspiciously like coffee. Coke.
"Can I have- Coke?" She almost said "coffee".
"Yeah." And then Jade noticed the craving on the walls. "Hey, what's that?"

(sounds fun, i'll add my character Ahja as a sort of side character. 14 years old, scared of a lot of harmless things, pessimist, and values power above everything else. Danish, ashamed of her parents [that will be part of the story so I won't tell you why right now].)

Anni Loie

Ahja walked around in the woods and then saw a light coming from the distance. Could this be the treasure she was looking for- nope. Just a McDonald's. Well, she was hungry. Why not go get some food? She noticed a couple of girls and this odd green-skined girl. There was a lot of commotion inside. Two girls- one who looked like she just took a bath, and another girl who was wearing a McDonald's uniform- were inspecting the wall. One girl with cat ears and the green-skin girl were chatting. Then there was a lone girl sitting on one of the stools near the counter.
"I need a burger." Ahja said as soon as she came in.
"We're out of burgers." Bath-girl said indifferently, the same time Uniformed McDonald's girl opened her mouth to speak, and then threw Bath-Girl a death glare.

@Lenered

Mariko let out a little gasp of delight when she saw the oil and then burst out in song, "All I'm trying to say is I thank you, I thank you, I thank you!" and then she clamped her mouth shut. "What are you all looking at?" she huffed. Mariko grabbed the oil and rushed to the bathroom, with the perfect poker face displayed on her features.

Petree stared at the girl who had asked for the oil. Why would she need oil in the washroom? Seriously?
"Yeah, I've been thinking why too." Jade answered, reading her thoughts. All of a sudden the girl who'd dumped the water on Petree jumped up and ran into the washroom after the girl who'd asked for oil.
"Be right back!" Petree dashed after the two girls.

Anni Loie

Bath-Girl had followed Green-Skin and Oil-Girl into the washroom. They were cuckoo, especially Oil-Girl, Ahja decided. Uniformed McDonald's Girl had just realized Ahja was still here.
"Er-what can I get for you?" she stammered.
"BURGER."
"Uh- remember? Petree- uh- said there were no more burgers!"
So, Bath-Girl was named Petree? Ahja suddenly remembered something. She'd known Petree before. She was the one who stole from the king's treasury. The golden sword and the diamond necklace. She was the king's niece. And she was definitely getting the treasures back. She'd come to the right place after all. Uniformed McDonald's Girl- maybe that was Alice, Petree's partner in crime- realized what Ahja was thinking.
"I know, I know, she's an outlaw, but isn't this run-down McDonald's an outlaw hangout? Seriously, er- didn't catch your name- relax. I'm Jade."
Ahja stared at Jade. Alice would never tell someone to relax. This was a random girl named Jade after all.
"Ahja. Why are those girls in the washroom?"

@wake-read-eat-sleep

Petree got locked out before she was able to catch what the other girls were doing. It was NOT FAIR. Why did everyone else get to make evil plans and do fun things without h-
Evil plans. What was that girl doing with the oil?

(Laura Heck, 15, 5’6. Caucasian, dull blue eyes, platinum blonde hair, sickly thin. Wears a yellow dress, white flip-flops, small gold clutch. Used to be a witch.
Is very quiet, but enjoys making people laugh through humor. Very sensitive to what other people feel, but knows when to speak up and when to keep quiet. Very poor self-esteem, to the point that she feels guilty whenever something bad happens in her vicinty. Still getting over her boyfriend’s death, which she accidentally caused.)

Laura opened the door to the McDonald's and frowned. This was one of the weirdest scenes she had ever walked into, including that one time between the head cheerleader and nerdy jock. Oh well. She skirted the group and took a seat at the back of the restaurant, watching the girls.

@wake-read-eat-sleep

Ding! The doorbell chimed, and in came another girl.
The newcomer stared at everyone weirdly. Petree couldn't blame her. Jade came over and introduced her to "Ahja", the girl who had asked for burgers. Ahja had a determined and annoyed look on her face, like she knew that Petree was an outlaw. What if she did?
Ahja frowned.
"Where is the sword?"
"The… sword?"

@Lenered

Mariko locked herself into the stall and tore her lace gloves off. She poured the oil throughout her joints and breathed a sigh of relief as the oil loosened up her joints. She braced herself, and popped out her eye, and oiled that too, as well as the other eye. Mariko's eyes resumed their normal positions and she quickly put her gloves back on.

Do you want to develop some rules? I was thinking:

You're not allowed to control other people's characters and make them say things without the owner's consent

Be respectful and courteous to everyone you're roleplaying with. You can still be respectful while your character dislikes another character. Lets keep all personal attacks out of it, though

-Only one main character who's POV you're writing from, but other than that, you can have other side characters/animals/familiars (although not too many please, that could get super chaotic)

-No hate/racist, sexist, homophobic/transphobic, or generally rude comments (unless part of the actual story and make sense, for example: a trans girl is walking down the hallway in her school and some bully shouts a very offensive comment at her)

-If someone makes a mistake, move past it, and as my idol, Elsa, likes to say: "The past is in the paaaaaaaaast!!!!!!"

-Absolutely NO LIMIT on what you do to or with your character, as long as you keep it appropriate (and please try not to swear), and no deciding what happens to other people's characters without their consent

Absolutely NO explicit/inapropriate scenes (you can say that a character was raped, just don't des, kissing between characters/shipping people's characters is allowed, as is violence, but no killing/wounding other people's characters without consent.
