Sherlock was minding his own business, sipping his tea, when he heard a knock on the door.

The Doctor stood outside the door, bouncing on the balls of his feet. Hadn't regenerated since he'd last seen Sherlock? He was only a boy then, wasn't he? ((SORRY REMEMBERED A REMEMBERED A RANDOM HEADCANNON I SAW ONCE))

Sherlock walked over to the door, and found a peculiar man in a how tie…. it couldn't possibly be…. the breathing pattern, two hearts. He was bouncing around, perhaps out of excitement but also because he was getting used to the unfamiliar gravity. "Doctor?" Sherlock asked, surprised.

He nodded. "Ah, so you do remember! No surprised, of course. Maybe a little because of the regeneration." He rambled, continuing on before, "How's the roommate hunt?"

"Not successful."

"Oh. Weeeeeeeeell, that's why I'm here!"
