(Ok)
Arabella looked at the time on the clock and gasped in shock "Phoenix we have 4 minutes to get to the stage in time for the cars!" She yelled, cleaning up her makeup and smoothing out her dress
At the stage, Headmistress Diane looked down her her black leather wristwatch and sighed, if someone didnt get here soon, she would be very disappointed at their lack of time management. She took out her cell phone from her black clutch and called the driver "hello?…yes send the cars in exactly 5 minutes….no, black cars…yes, yes I'll see you then." She snapped and hung up.
Ziva made her way to the stage, dressed in her nicest black skinny jeans and a white button up, paired with her travel boots. It was the nicest, cleanest thing she had. "I'm not late, am I? One of my horns got caught on my shirt."
((Nebula disappeared so…yea?
(oops, sorry)
Azalea used the slightest amount of her super speed to get changed while she was in her dorm. She chose to wear a blue and white button up with khaki chinos and a belt right around her hips. she removed her pencil from her hair and took it out of the bun and ran her fingers through it a couple of times before putting on a red bow tie and black leather shoes. She also used a little bit more of her speed in the halls but was careful not to bump into anyone. She slowed down once she reached the stage almost a minute early.
Rio walked up to the stage shortly after Ziva, almost at the same time as Azalea. Looking around he studied the two, before setting his duffle down to rest his shoulder.
Phoenix looked at the clock, "Shoot! I'll meet you down there. See you there."
She opened the window up and climbed out to the ledge before spreading her wings out and heading to the meet up spot.
Sage walked down the stairs trying not to fall. All she could think about was how overly dressed she was. Opening the doors to where they were having dinner, she looked around and saw the other kids. The only one she knew was Rio, so that's who she looked for.
Rio waved when he saw Sage, not moving from his duffle.
Headmistress Diane looked at the group of children and smiled "I see that we are all here. The cars will arrive shortly to take us to the restaurant. This is not only a dinner, but a way of my colleagues and I to observe your behaviour. Those who do not meet the requirements will be given instructions on how to explain that they are not authorized to come to Lunar Signs Academy." She spoke to them a firm but soft voice.
Arabella nodded at her instructions and opened her clutch to check if everything was there. She took out her phone and sent her parents a text about what had occurred this far
Phoenix nodded at the instructions and leaned forward on her crutches, observe their behavior? It made sense since this was going to be a school for the best, she just hoped she made the cut.
Rio nodded, waiting for the cars to arrive.
That could be a problem. Ziva though, rifling through her messenger bag. She didn't exactly have the most refined behavior.
A few minutes later, the cars arrived. After seating the Headmistress, the chauffeur's started putting the students in the cars. Each car had enough space for 4 people to sit comfortably. Arabella was happy to have snagged the window seat.
Rio ended up in the car with Sage, waiting to go. well I guess it's time to take advantage of all those etiquette lessons I had to survive.
Phoenix climbed into the car with Arabella. She took the seat that had the most room, since both her wings and crutches took up quite a bit of space.
Ziva looked around and shrugged, following the winged girl into one of the cars. Her sketchbook was immediately in hand, as she started drawing the girl she had followed.
Phoenix noticed the girl sketching her and her wings folded up against her body. She looked to the girl, "Hi. Do you mind not drawing me?"
"Hm? Oh, uh, sure. Sorry." She looked down at the paper for a second before tearing it out and crumpling it up. "I didn't even realize I had been. Happens from time to time."
Rio looked out the window, watching as the sun began to get low in the sky.
"It's fine," Phoenix responded, "I just don't like it when people draw me. Makes me get all uncomfortable."
"That's valid." Ziva spoke with a weird accent, one that almost sounded like blend of different accents. "My name's Ziva, nice to meet you."
"Phoenix, it's nice to meet you to," she responded with a smile. The girl had a strange set of accents, Oh wait. Phoenix reached down and pushed the button for her crutches to fold up. There, that should save some space.
Ziva watched the crutches fold with interest, leaning forward just enough to get a better view. "Did you…build these?"
"Yeah," Phoenix nodded holding up her arm with the attached crutch to it, "Traditional ones got in the way of everything and these help save space and are less of a hassle to fly around with."
"Amazing. Is it plain technology, or did you blend the collapsing mechanisms with magic?" She looked up at Phoenix, eyes wide with curiosity.
"Just tech, I don't have any magic I could combine with it," Phoenix said with a laugh, "It's why they're so bulky on my arms."
"Without magic is even cooler! Do you make things like this often?"
"Yep!" Phoenix nodded with a big grin on her face, "Anything to make my life a little easier."
"You could probably apply for a patent." Ziva said as she sat back, fingers tapping a quick rhythm on her leg.
"I mean I could," Phoenix shrugged, "But I don't think it's necessary too."
