"Barely, although I can jump high, it's noting like it. The closest feeling to flying would be me being pulled to a gigantic magnet." She answers, remembering how in second grade they were learning about magnetic pulls. That day did not end up well for her.
"Oh," Phoenix said before continuing with a smile, "I still wish I could do something like that."
"It's not as easy as it sounds. I broke my wrist and shattered my shin on a couple of landings because I didn't do it right." She remembered, scrunching her face at the memory.
Phoenix looked down at her feet, "Oh, did you hurt yourself a lot?"
"Yea, but those were the worst ones. Every thing else were sprained ankles and bleeds. What's your favorite hobby?"
"I like to tinker around and create thongs," Phoenix smiled gesturing to her crutches, "Espicially if it helps with mobility and convenience."
"Thongs?" "That's cool, what have you specifically worked on." She said, looking at the crutches.
"Things*" "My crutches and a prototype leg brace," Phoenix said with a grin, "I also made my weapon and a few other defensive things."
"Damn, the only thing I have ever made would be…" Azalea trailed off, noticing that there was nothing that she had ever made.
Phoenix laughed, "Yeah, I just enjoy working with something physical."
"That sounds like a great idea!" Said Rio aittle too enthusiastically, "where do you wanna explore first?"
Ed shrugged. "How about just checking out the grounds?" he suggested.
"That sounds like a great idea!" Said Rio aittle too enthusiastically, "where do you wanna explore first?"
Ed shrugged. "How about just checking out the grounds?" he suggested.
Rio pushed off the windowsill, "Sounds good to me!" he said cheerfully, glad something was actually happening as he headed for the door.
Phoenix laughed, "Yeah, I just enjoy working with something physical."
"Who's turn is it for the questions." She laughed, completely forgetting that and what number they were on.
"I think it's yours," Phoenix laughed.
Ed shrugged, hopping off of his bed. He half wondered if they would get in trouble for this, then brushed it off. It's only against the rules if we get caught, he reasoned. Words the smaller boy lived by.
Rio headed out the door and out into the main room, "Where shall we explore first?" he asked, not sure which way to go.
"I think it's yours," Phoenix laughed.
"Well then, if you were put on an airplane right now and could go anywhere, where would you go?"
"Nice to meet you, too," Jamie said, shaking Sage's hand. She blanked on something to say for a second. "Um, any pets?" she asked, grasping for a conversation topic.
"I mean, my family has a dog. I wish I could have brought him. How about you?" Sage looked at the watch on her wrist and wondered if there was going to be something to do soon, she didn't like sitting for to long.
Jamie nodded. "Back home, we had a cat, two dogs, and a snake," she answered, then waited for Sage. Generally, people were surprised about the snake part.
(Hey, Starlight? Would it be alright if the other characters found out that Ed and Rio were heading out and joined them if they wanted? Or would you rather it be just them? I'm down for whatever but figured I'd ask you)
"I think it's yours," Phoenix laughed.
"Well then, if you were put on an airplane right now and could go anywhere, where would you go?"
"Home," Phoenix answered quickly, "It's not that I don't like it here, I would just love to tell my family what's happened."
Azalea suddenly remembered them taking away their phones a while ago and nodded. "I understand that. I would choose to go to Brazil. I grew up there for like the first eight years of my life and I miss it."
"Nice," Phoenix smiled at her, "Was it nice there?"
"Where I lived it was kinda crowded but when we went outside, like outside outside, then it was way nicer than seeing the same three story buildings closely packed together with laundry hanging from your neighbors balcony." Azalea answered, feeling nostagic.
Phoenix smiled, "That sounds crowded, but cozy. I grew up in a smaller town, and even then we lived isolated on a farm. Plenty of room to fly around, but not much to interact with."
"Growing up in those crowded areas helped with my parkour immensely but when I moved here, there was barely anything to jump off of, so I see how you feel."
"Man, I wish I had a snake, but my mom is terrified of them." Sage was interested, she only had a dog but she always loved animals and wanted more. "Hey I saw a garden outside, would you maybe want to go check it out?"
"Growing up in those crowded areas helped with my parkour immensely but when I moved here, there was barely anything to jump off of, so I see how you feel."
"Yeah," Phoenix nodded with a slight smile, "There is no room to fly around, and I have to use my crutches more than I would like too."
Azalea looked at the two pairs of people filing out the room before looking back to Phoenix. "yOUR TURN i GUESS."
(Caps locks?)
"What's your favorite color?" Phoenix asked some thinking. She didn't know what else to ask.
(yeah sorry)
"Blue and green." She said, gesturing to her hair. "What about you?"
