“Hey! Here want some? Yummy. Chicken!” She said holding the chicken in front of it.
“Hey! Here want some? Yummy. Chicken!” She said holding the chicken in front of it.
The dragon pup shuffled away fearfully, shaking and wailing loudly. It shook its head at her chicken.
She looked at it sorrowfully “awe bud…” she whispered softly. She looked at the dragon and where it got hurt and came closer, staring at the magmatic thing
As soon as she walked out of the pup’s eyesight it continued wailing and wailing. It pawed at its mother, crying loudly.
Sparrow walked over to the baby dragon and moved a hand forward “here bud, I’m not gonna hurt you.” She murmured
The dragon gazed up at her and leaned forward slowly, whining and shaking but sniffing for the meat.
She held the meat and gestured the dragon forward
The dragon jumped a little when she moved suddenly, wailing at her. It soon got over it and crept forward more, sniffing closer and closer to the chicken.
Sparrow moved the meat closer and stood as still as possible
The dragon flapped its leathery black wings nervously and nibbled on the meat nervously.
Sparrow stayed still until it came closer. She saw it sniff at the meat and it took a bite. She took a tiny step forward
(Could we not do one-liners?)
Changed it)
The pup shifted away slightly, though its neck was still stretched out to eat. This looked very uncomfortable.
“Are you stuck?” Sparrow asked. She looked around to make sure no one was looking and moved closer, giving the dragonling the rest of the meat
The pup whined but didn’t move away from her. It slapped its tail on the paving nervously.
She walked over to it and lifted a hand to let it sniff it. She waited a moment as it tentatively came closer
The pup sniffed for a bit, scooting forward. It licked her fingers to try and get more chicken.
She moved a little back and saw it come out of where it was hidden. She slowly walked back and kept looking back to see wether or not it was following.
The pup yapped loudly, and its mother’s massive form began to fade. It whined, nuzzled it, then stepped forward tenitively towards Sparrow.
Sparrow kept walking and opened the backyard door and let it walk inside
The pup trotted inside, looking around, shaking and yapping.
Sparrow took out some more chicken and fed the dragon. “Hmm, what should I call you?” She thought to gerself
The pup gave a shaky yap and accepted the chicken. It ate as Sparrow contemplated.
(When is the neighbour going to come out?)
(Just have them near her apartment)
Sparrow worked with the dragon for a while until it started trusting her a bit. She came close to it and pet it’s head.
The dragon pup shifted away a bit and yapped at her hand, sniffing it before leaning forward. It thumped its tail nervously but let her pet it.
“Shard, I’m going to call you Shard.” She said thoughtfully. Then have it some more chicken
Shard nibbled on the chicken. It was shaking less but it still looked frightened and upset.
