Rose sat down on it and leaned back a bit with his hands resting on his lap. This was nice, a bit calming to him after what had happened.

Noah played with his fingers on his lap nervously. He didn’t know what to say, since Rose didn’t seem like the talking type, athough neither did he.

Rose stretched his legs out a bit. “Why did you try to start something with that guy for me?” He asked softly.

Noah quickly glanced at Rose, but then looked away. “He was up in your business, and you didn’t seem like you enjoyed it. So I defended you.” he said quietly.

Rose nodded his head a little. “I didn’t. Thank you..” he said softly.

Noah shrugged. “It was just what anyone would do.” He shot Rose a quick smile.

Rose gave a soft huff and shrugged. He did his best to force a smile to his lips in return.

(Do you have any idea for another plot point?)

Noah saw that his smile was forced, and in turn his own faltered. He probably doesn’t like you. Get used to it. This time, he stayed quiet instead of trying to iniate conversation.

(Um, we could have them go out on an actual date at some point?)

Rose gave a little sigh as he glanced away. For a moment, he wished he was back home, curled up in his soft blankets with his favorite stuffed animal.

This is awkward. How do I make it less awkward? Internally, Noah was freaking out, but his face stayed calm, betraying no emotions. Several times he opened his mouth to say something, but decided against it in the last moment and stayed quiet.

(We can do that. Also sorry for not answering, I have been very very busy and haven’t been on at all)

Rose would notice when Noah started to speak, but stopped. This was nervewracking. He didn’t like these sort of situations, it just made him nervous.
