"I like it. It's small but cozy, and it's by the river so the name is fitting. There aren't as many annoying details!" He said, saying theasy two words slightly louder. "I heard that!" Alexia shouted from the counter.
She laughed and nodded again, "That sounds fun," She flipped her book open to a random page and then closed it again, looking around the cafe.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Pick you up at school?" He asked
"Sounds good," She smiled and tapped her book, "See you there." She waved to him once and walked towards the door, "I'll wait by the front doors of the school."
Kai leaned against his bike and waited for Dierra to come out of her school. He had seen a few people whisper and point to his bike ut he just smirked and continued waiting.
Dierra walked out of the school with her friend, talking about something. She saw Kai out of the corner of her eye and she blushed slightly, saying goodbye to her friend before she could get picked on. "Hi Kai," she smiled as she walked up to him, straightening out her sweatshirt.
"What's up?" He asked getting on his bike and holding out an extra helmet "ready to go?"
She nodded and took the helmet, debating whether or not to take her backpack off. "Should I leave my backpack here?" She asked as the put the helmet on.
"You can bring it, I can either hang it in my handle bar or you can wear it." He said, revving his engine
"I'll leave it on," She said, hesitantly getting onto the bike behind him. "I've actually never been on one of these," She said as she wrapped her arms around him so she wouldn't fall off.
"You best hold on then." He grinned and sped out of there.
Sometime later they arrived at the cafe
Dierra was smiling happy by the end of the ride, "That was fun," She unhooked her arms from around him and got off the bike. She took the helmet off and held it out for him, looking at the cafe, "This place looks nice."
Kai nodded and took the helmet "this was one of my favourite places to go to as a kid. I come here sometimes if I'm feeling upset." He smiled softly
"Are you upset?" She asked, tilting her head slightly as she looked back at him. She started towards the doors and smiled lightly, "I can already tell that I'm going to like this place." She said, glancing back at Kai again.
Kai dodnt answer her question and instead started leading her towards the cafe. "I advise you get there apple pie or toasted sandwiches." He smiled
She nodded and followed him to the doors with a smile, her stomach growling slightly.
Once they found and seat and ordered, Kai looked at her "what other books do you read?" He asked curiously, cocking his head to one side.
"I read a lot of fiction books, along with a few romance." She shrugged, "I'm thinking of restarting the Harry Potter deities since its been a while since I've read them."
"Harry Potter is a wonderful universe to escape life. In my opinion it's easy to lose ones self in there." He smiled wistfully
"That's very true." She said with a nod, a small smile on her face, "Who's your favorite character in that seiries?"
"Luna lovegood and professor trelawney."
(Dunno if I spelled that eight?)
(Idk either they look right though)
She nodded again, "I'm more of a fan of the Weasly twins."
Kai smiled "ah yes, the masters of mischief. My second favorite. Why do you like them?"
"They just seem like they're actually siblings, they joke around and are just overall fun." She shrugged, smiling lightly, "Why do you like Luna and Trelawney?"
"Luna has a method to her madness and trelawney is misunderstood. They are side characters that hold a lot of significance."
"I suppose, but now an important question, what do you think about Snape?" She leaned back on her chair and crossed her arms, smiling lightly.
"Hes an asshole who deserved everything that came his way." Kai stated, placing his hands on the warm surface of the steaming mug the server put in front of him "thanks Debbie." He smiled, and blew on his tea
She frowned at Kai but gave a warm smile to the server, "Thank you." She said, taking her hot chocolate with a mountain of whipped cream, "I'd have to disagree with you, Snape was misunderstood to say the least, he didn't deserve most of what happened to him."
