Kodiak's POV (Kodiak is a dude)

Kodiak watched with a sinking feeling as Rowan was brought to the ground. Dammit! So close…
"Nyir, stop."
He approached the girl with a calm demeanor and ordered her to drop her weapon. "Now is this how the President would want us to act? You're not supposed to shoot, we both know that." He was whispering in her ear now, desperate to keep his friends safe. "So why don't we drop the gun and lock them up like we're supposed to, before I go get the general."

Yuki didn’t know who to kill. “I’ll kill all of you.”, she threatened. Her fists clenched, turning her knuckles white.

Nyir POV

My trigger finger twitched. "Kodiak," I said, my gaze never wavering from the rebel's face, "restrain them."

"That's all you had to say." Kodiak walked slowly up to everyone and calmly put them in restraints, whispering to each an escape plan to go on later that night. "I'll get you out."

(I'm switching to third person POV)

Nyir lowered her weapon, her mouth set. "Oh, and Kodiak?" She said as he led the rebels away. "Don't question my authority again."

"then don't overly assert it," He replied coolly, smirking. "Just because we're soldiers doesn't mean you have to be an asshole all the time." (lol this rp is amazingggg)

Nyir smirked right back at him, but her shoulders were tense. She fiddled with her weapon again. "Just follow orders, solider." Her eyes glinted dangerously.

"Yes, ma'am. You'll make a good general one day, maybe an overseer. Hang in there!"

Nyir frowned. "Right." She turned away from him, waving at the rest of the team (which shall remain nameless unless someone else's character wants to join pro-harris team) to corral the rebels. The group of them headed out of the forest, back towards the city limits.

Kodiak walked with his friends back into the city, head hung. "Sorry guys," he whispered quietly, brandishing his gun. "I didn't see her come over. I'll cover for you guys and we can try again later tonight."

Yuki shot Kodiak a glare. She thought it was best to kill everyone and run. Maybe I could kill everyone after we break out of prison, she thought.

Catching Yuki's glare, Kodiak sighed. "Fine. Kill everyone already. See where that gets you. Look, do you want to save your family and friends or not?"

“I find this a terrible idea”, she whispered to Kodiak. “We are literally turning ourselves in.”
