”Ah, you're family then.” Emmeline stated simply. ”May I ask what you are the Demi-goddess of? Sass?”
Once the map was out of Adis’s hand she levitated it to herself and muttered a quick replication spell.
”Ah, you're family then.” Emmeline stated simply. ”May I ask what you are the Demi-goddess of? Sass?”
Once the map was out of Adis’s hand she levitated it to herself and muttered a quick replication spell.
Tundra watched as the Enchantress girl levitate the map and then duplicate it. She was near silent as she asked, "Can you make me a copy?"
“Can you make me one too?” Quentin added. He looked at Emmeline in awe.
Emmeline simply smiled and levitated a copy for each of her fellow Vk’s. Including Tundra.
(Sorry for the brief reply. Don't know what else to make her do.)
Tundra took the copy and then left the room. She could explore the school on her own without others around.
“Magic is the coolest,” Quentin breathed. “Thanks! Also hi person I’ve never seen before!” He looked at Alix.
Alix turned to the magic girl. “Uh, do you not know how demigods work? You’re friend is one of them.” She gestured to her roommate. She realized something. “Who’s name I still don’t know. Besides the point. The point is I’m not a demigod of anything. Dad isn’t exactly super powerful.” She looked up, almost as though she was hoping someone, anyone would smite her. “My only “powers” are that I’m a little stronger than I look.” She turned to the boy with the heart on his cheek and gave him a two-fingered salute. “Sup.”
Eris sighed and left the closet to wander the halls for a while. One of her favorite things was to float up and down the halls and make bets with herself on who would scream first. She felt a cut on her knee open up as she lifted up into the air, but ignored it. Her dress would probably cover it.
”I have to agree with you, Quentin.” Emmeline laughed. Looking at the ”not” princess she narrowed her eyes slightly. ”We didn't have any of our powers until recently, in case you didn't know. The Isle is sealed to prevent that.”
Adis had their legs propped up against a pillow, they were looking through a textbook that had been on their bed, only looking up a bit. "I'm not a demigod by the way, mom was a god too. Which technically makes me a full god and not just a demi one."
“So why is everyone hanging out here?” Quentin asked. “It’s not that exciting. It’s just a room.”
Thank the gods. “Yup!” Alix stood up, sensing freedom in her future. “I bet you guys all need to get settled in your dorms, or maybe you have classes to get to.” She stood next to the door, an invitation for them to leave. “It’s been lovely chatting with you, but I’m sure you’re probably busy, and I have homework.”
Tundra continued to explore ignoring the looks she got from the other students. She wasn't a villain kid, not really. She just looked like one for now, once she got new clothes she would look like one of them.
"Actually," Acacia said finally speaking up. "I think we should all go into my and Emmeline's room. There are some things we should probably discuss." she looked at her fellow VKs completely ignoring Alix.
Emmeline gave a slight shrug. ”I only came for the map, not sure why you’re all here. Don't really care though, to be honest.” She smirked giving a mock bow to Alix. ”Lovely to meet you, Sassy princess. I do hope we meet again.” Turning to her fellow VK’s she took the lead. ”Our room is this way, I can't wait to hear what Acadia has planned.”
“Oh great the Princess nickname is a thing now,” Alix said with a fake smile. It transformed into some semblance of a real smile. “See ya.”
Acacia chuckled as she left the room, hoping that the rest of the VKs follow. She needs to talk to them about the plans at least some of them already have.
“See you later,” Quentin added, following the others. He winked at Alix on his way out.
Adis gave a salute and a smirk as they exited the room, they couldn't wait to see what she had planned!
Alix sighed through pursed lips. Finally. She put her headphones over her head and turned on her music. The VKs were not what she expected - not like she had expected anything. And they were tall, really talk. Was that a villain thing?
Kiro watched the others file out of the room. He had no interest in joining in on some rudimentary plan that the other villains had bestowed upon their children. All that mattered was his mother's plan. One that he would not fail at. Unfortunately, that meant making friends with a choice few people. Kiro was horrid at making friends though, so there was that huge flaw in the plan. He sighed, stepping further into the room instead of out of it like the others, and plopped onto Adis' bed gracefully. "You better have black." Kiro said to the other, holding out a long fingered hand.
He watched the girl, Alix–he was really going to have to remember names wasn't he?– curiously. He never thought a hero's child would be so…snarky.
Once they were all in her room, Acacia closed the door. "Is everyone or at least most of us here?" She asked looking around at the group.
Adis blinked, frowning. "I'll be right back, someone is on my bed." They said with a scowl before blinking out of the room and appearing back in their room. "Get off my bed, Kiro." They said, appearing behind the bed.
Tundra couldn't take the looks any more. Did the kids here really think she was some villain? She knew she was different, but that didn't give them the right to stare at her. She began to make her way back to her dorm hoping it was empty so she could be alone for a bit.
Eris heard the door to her room opening and floated back down the hall to look inside. Ah. Probably best if she just left, since the Frost girl hated her. Nonetheless, she hated being subjected to others' opinions, so instead she walked over to her desk and rearranged it for the 20th time that week.
(I'm so sorry she can't get the name right)
(Why are you apologizing? It's apart of the character, just like it's apart of my character to get easily annoyed. Hell, Tundra doesn't remember anyone's actual names and has been calling them child of blank almost this entire time.)
(Lmao apologizing is just what I do. I can't not apologize.)
Kiro frowned. "I thought you'd offered to paint my nails?" He remained on the bed in question, actually shifting just a bit to appear more lounged. Making friends requires playful banter. He had read it somewhere once. Shouldn't be too hard. Right? Kiro arched a brow at Adis, wiggling his outstretched hand. "Besides, if you want to do some real damage I would assume you'd want someone more….practiced…in mayhem."
Emmeline rolled her eyes as Adis left. “Sit wherever you’d like.” She gestured broadly to her half of the room. She may be a villain but she wasn’t rude… most of the time.
Teleportation. I’ll have to try that one sometime now that I can.
As she waited, Emmeline took out her map and a sharp needle. She used the needle to prick her finger hard enough to draw blood before allowing a drop to fall on the parchment. As the blood hit the paper a custom image representing each of the VK’s appeared marking which rooms they had claimed.
