Finneas took the cup, "Thank you, ma'am. I have my own recipe, but I appreciate this greatly." He tilted some of the contents from the cup into his mouth. He paid little mind to the girls, apart from watching out of the corner of his eye, making sure they didn't touch anything important.
Mercy shrugged, “You kept your word and removed the band. It seemed unnecessarily cruel to keep you in pain. I may not understand Alchemy very well but I did study apothecary medicine.”
Noticing the expressions of the two girls, Mercy asked kindly, “May I ask why you girls are here?”
Grace took her phone out and texted Ali quickly. "Do we have to stay?" Alison's status showed as online. But she didn't get an answer. "I guess we're staying, Iz." she said.
Naide walking up to the new girls, stil suspicious of everything around them.
Her white white and black faded hair swaying from side to side with every step she took towards them.
"Who are you guys?"
She says putting her hands on her hips. Looking back at Naide, then surprised by the two girls, he walks over to them.
His third eye open, staring down at them along with his others. His wings pressed against his back, he didnt feel very threatened by them.
"Naide chill"
He says flicking the back of her head.
Finneas smeared some of the leftover ointment on his bleeding lips and bruised jaw before setting down the empty cup, "Your logic makes sense." He turned back to whimpering Rune removing the cloth for a second to examine it, "Eh, It's not deep. You'll be fine, Birdie." He placed the cloth back over her hand and held it there with a bit of pressure while he waited for the bleeding to slow.
Isobel was quick to retort to Mercy and Naide, "Who the hell are you guys?" responding to their question with another question. Grace put a hand on Isobel's shoulder, as a limiter for what she could say next.
"We're where we're supposed to be, unlike you. Now, why don't you go and f-"
Naide was interrupted by literally being picked up by young-Jae, and sat down on a random chair against the wall.
"i apolagize for my familiar, Im Young-Jae"
He says calmly to the two girls, holding out his hand to them.
Mercy bit her lip to keep from laughing. Naide and the bolder girl had been a bit rude but watching Young-Jae pick up someone that much taller was humorous.
Clearing her throat to mask a chuckle, she smiled, “My friends call me Mercy, though you can call me Samara as well.”
Isobel stiffly extended out her hand, wary, while Grace took shook his hand with no problem at all. "Hey, I'm sure it's fine," Grace responded cheerfully. "I'm Grace, and this is- ow! why'd you do that Iz?" she was interrupted by Isobel stomping on her foot. Hard. Clearing her throat, Isobel said, "I'm, uh Isobel," she introduced herself awkwardly.
"So… May i ask why you guys are here?"
He asks politely, with a smile and a slight tilt of his head.
"I- uh…" Isobel trailed off, not really knowing what to say while giving Grace a look that clearly said, You tell them. Grace cleared her throat, and explained. "So… we have a friend named Alison…" Grace looked at Isobel and said silently with her eyes, continue. "That told us to come here…" Isobel continued awkwardly. "Uh… yeah that's it." Grace ends.
Mercy tilted her head slightly, somewhat impressed. “You must really trust your friend to come to a strangers house. Did she tell you why you needed to come here?”
Normally it was very easy for the shapeshifter to hold form for a long period of time but something was making her … not quite nervous but… something similar.
"No…" Grace trailed off as if she was answering the question, but really she was answering the question and saying that Mercy's statement was false.
Finneas finished wrapping Rune’s hand and placed a quick kiss to the top of her head, “There, all better, Birdie.”
He turned around in his seat to face the girls again, “Then why did you do what they asked?”
"Aaah, you wouldn't understand. You haven't been her friend for the past 5 years," Grace said softly, lowering her head as she bit her lower lip.
“Hm,” he glanced off in thought with raised eyebrows, “Good point. I haven’t been friends with anybody for the last five years.” Not that he cared; he just thought of it as a fact.
(i'm gonna wait for someone else to reply, give them a chance)
"26?"
Naide mumbles as Young-Jae's turned around to face her.
"Somewhere around that"
He says with a light smile turning back to the group.
(wait what? i'm kinda confused by what you just wrote)
(It's an inside thing between them, don't worry about it, i just wanted to post something)
(oh i was afraid that i missed something)
grace jumps in. "so, you're 26?" she asks, having had overheard naide's and young-jae's conversation..
Mercy just watched the exchange quietly. She had a small hunch that Grace and Isobel were keeping something to themselves but prying seemed hypocritical at the moment. She raised a brow slightly at Naide and Young-Jae’s comments, curious about the meaning.
”I don't really have many friends either.” She admitted.
"It's hard to explain….but…im actually 20 about to turn 21…so is Naide…but certain peoples souls are tied together around 5 years before their even born. That's how it is where we came from."
He says to her running his fingers through his light blue hair.
"ah," grace replied, satisfied with his answer.
"Anyway…. Is she free? Because if so, we'll be taking her, and you'll be leaving her alone…right?"
He says turning to Finneas and Rune.
Finneas looked back to him, “Yes, she’s free. But I am going to visit her,” he stated as more of a declaration, “Becayse if nothing else, she’s my friend.”
Mercy looked at the two of them thoughtfully. Maybe they had judged him too quickly and on not very much information.
”That seems fair, I suppose. But until we get to know you better… would you be opposed to at least one of us being present during some of the visits?” Her eyes flickered between yellow and pink, showing her embarrassed nerves.
"I'm sorry," Isobel said, confused. "But what exactly is going on here?" Isobel's eyes landed on Rune, the only one who hadn't spoken yet on this matter.
"I will… "
He says stepping away from the girls. They don't have any other makes in the group, so he felt obligated. And usually, he didn't care about gender, but he found out, males are more scared of other males than they were females…especially if he's beaten him up before
